Alice looked so beautiful when she was asleep. He preferred her when she was asleep. When she was awake she looked far more plain and boring. But when she was asleep she looked beautiful and fascinating. Sometimes Ace wished she would stay asleepforever.

He gently traced his finger tips across her cheekbone, delicately brushing her eyelashes. He traced her jawline and then carefully brought his fingers to her slim throat. He wrapped them around it and for a moment debated whether or not he should squeeze.

His decision was made for him a moment later when Alice's eyes blinked open. They looked so blue against the paleness of her skin and in the light of the moon streaming in through the window.

"Ace? W-what are you doing?"there was a tinge of fear and nervousness in her voice. "Why are you in my room?"

Ace simply smiled. "Are you scared, Alice?"

"N-no. What are you doing?"

"I only wanted to hear you heart beat,"Ace replied in a reasonable voice.. "You never let me listen while you're awake."

"Well, please go away. This is very inappropriate. And get your hands off my throat!" Again there was that note of panic in her voice.

Ace simply chuckled and ignored her request. He wondered if her heart was beating faster because of her fear.

He checked by resting his ear against her chest.

Thump thump thump

Yes, it was beating faster, but not fast enough. Would squeezing her throat make it go faster?

Ace tightened his grip on her neck. Alice made a soft, strangled sound and began struggling.

But Ace paid no heed. Still squeezing her throat he leaned his eat against her chest again. He smirked. Yes, it was beating faster.

He squeezed even harder and was delighted that her heart beat even faster and louder. But after a while it began slowing down and getting quieter even when he gripped her throat tighter.

With a sigh Ace released her throat.

Immediately Alice began coughing and wheezing, sitting up and bending over as her hands clutched her throat. Ace watched curiously.

When she was done she glared at him, though Ace could see her hands were shaking. Still breathing hard she hissed, "Get out! Now!"

"Can't I sleep with you?"asked Ace, slightly hurt.

"No, get out!"screeched Alice and as she was about to continue she suddenly began coughing again.

Maybe he had squeezed her throat too hard. Ace got upto grab her a glass of water. He didn't feel like going all the way to the kitchen and he couldn't quite remember how to get there, but he had seen a glass on her bed side table when he'd crept
intoher room earlier so that he could stare at her. That would have to do.

He got it and handed it to her. In response Alice threw it at him.

He dodged and stared at her as she glared at him. He would have made a joke or something, but for some reason he felt that there was a ethereal and soft feeling to the air and atmosphere. He didn't want to ruin it by goofiness. But he couldn't stand iteither
so without a word he turned and left, closing the door quietly behind him.

Alice. She always made him feel weird.

Hello everyone reading this story! Welcome and thanks so much for reading. This is a fanfiction about Ace and Alice. It started out kinda heavy and dark, but the story is meant to be lighthearted and goofy with Ace being a weirdo and Alice being all blushy
and hard to get and dramatic. So yeah. If that sounds like your kind of thing please continue reading! And if not then there's lots of other good books that I'm sure you will enjoy. This story updates Monday. So next update will be August 29,2016.
I will try my hardest to update on that day anyway. It's just hard, because I don'thave my own computer and the family computer is like a outdated chunky pcthat takes five minutes to load a website. Luckily the new fan fiction applets you edit and write stories on it. Which is wonderful, but it's still a little wonky.
