My first Trollhunters fic! I hope you enjoy it!
"Valentine's Day, Master Jim?" Blinky ask Jim.
"Yes its a holiday that celebrates love. And I can't do any Trollhunters stuff because I'm going to go out with Claire tonight! She's my Valentine!"
"Valentine? Master Jim this is silly!"
Jim sigh. "Look Blinky if you knew about romantic love you'll understand. Now I got to go!"
Before Blinky can say anything, Jim left. Blinky sigh.
"Valentine's Day? How silly!"
Blinky look at his pile of books and sigh. Romantic love is still a new thing to Blinky. Yes trolls do love but more like family love or friendship love. But romantic love? What's the purpose of romantic love besides breeding?
Arrrggghhh sigh sadly and stare at the remote while Toby is playing a video game.
"Hey wing man, what's up? Why so sad?" Toby ask.
Arrrggghhh sigh. "Love."
"Oh yeah it's Valentine's Day! Can't get a Valentine huh? Me too."
"Like. Blinky." Arrrggghhh confess.
"Woa woa! Back up! Did you just say you like Blinky?"
Arrrggghhh nod.
"Dude! You have to tell him!"
"How?"
"I'll help you! Today I'll be your wing man!"
Arrrggghhh smile and nod happily.
Blinky was reading a book about love when Arrrggghhh was push into Blinky's library, holding something behind his back.
Blinky look up and quickly close the book and hide it. "I umm! I wasn't reading about human romance!"
Arrrggghh look away as he hold up the bouquet of flowers.
Blinky's eyes widen. "What is this? Why are you giving me colorful plants?"
"Tell him!" Toby whisper loudly to Arrrggghhh.
"Valentine?" Arrrggghhh ask.
"Yes today is Valentine's Day and Jim is off doing...whatever humans do on this day!"
Toby facepalm. "Be more specific!" He whisper again.
"Be Valentine?"
"Yes Jim said to me that I wouldn't understand love! Well I'll show him! I'll get a Valentine if it's the last thing I'll do!" Blinky said and left the library.
Arrrggghhh frown and put the flowers down.
"Hey it's ok, you'll try again next time!" Toby tried comfort him.
"Blinky don't like me."
"Don't say that! I'm sure he likes you! Go on! Try to chase after him! Go get your Romeo umm...Romeo?"
Arrrggghhhh blink and stare at Toby.
"Come on I'll help you! Follow me!"
Blinky went all over the Troll Market to look for a Valentine but no luck. No one know what being a Valentine means and when Blinky explain what a Valentine is, he either got a gross reaction or a even more confusing reaction.
Blinky gave up and sat on the ground. He cover his face in shame.
"Jim is right! I don't understand!" Blinky cried.
"Blinky."
Blinky look up and saw Arrrggghhh standing in front of him.
"Oh Arrrggghhh! This is terrible! No one understands what I mean when I ask them about being my Valentine! I guess I'll never understand love."
"Me. You. Valentine?"
"Yes I know old friend, what's the point of Valentine's Day! It's a bunch of rubbish!"
"Oh for crying out loud! Arrrggghhh is asking you to be his Valentine!" Toby yell from afar.
Blinky stare up at Arrrggghhh and Arrrggghhh smile and hold out the flowers.
"You? Want to be my Valentine?"
Arrrggghhh nod. Blinky smile and got up from the floor and hug Arrrggghhh.
"Yes! Yes I will be your Valentine!"
Arrrggghhh smile big and hug Blinky back.
"Now what?" Blinky ask.
"Date." Arrrggghhh ask.
"Yes a date! What's a date?" Blinky ask.
"Me will explain."
"Splendid! Now we are getting a hang of this love! Wait till Jim hears this!" Blinky said happily.
