Edward Cullen was getting frustrated. His girlfriend, the lovely Bella, was grounded and couldn't go out with him. Though she in truth deserved the punishment it was getting on his nerves. Besides, she was eighteen. Wasn't it time for her to start taking charge of her own life? So, while visiting his girlfriend, he kindly suggested that she go out with him. He'd already made reservations in fact. Her eyes widened as he invited her out in front of her father.

"But…I'm grounded."

"Yes, well, I think you've been grounded long enough. You're eighteen, time to start making your own decisions. And I've decided you should decide to go out with me. Come along, now."

"Alright." She hesitantly stood up and began to follow him, like she always did.

"Bella Swan! You sit down right now!" Charlie ordered.

She sat back down.

"Bella, come on. I've already made reservations at a very nice restaurant."

"Oooh, that sounds nice." She stood up again.

"Bella…" Her father growled. She sat back down.

"Bella, I have a nice evening planned. How's a moonlit stroll through the woods sound?"
"That does sound nice."

She stood up again.

"Bella, you know you're not allowed out!"
She looked back at her dad, then back at her boyfriend. Then she sat back down.

"Bella, come on!"
"Bella, sit down!"
"Come with me, Bella!"
"Stay here Bella!"

She appeared to be doing squats as she sat back down then stood up again. Both her father and her boyfriend pleaded with her, pulling her in opposite directions. She held her head as both made their argument as to why she should obey one over the other. She was getting a headache. She loved Edward, wanted to go out with him. But how could she defy her father whom she also loved?

"Bella, come on, you're eighteen for God's sake!"
"Bella, you live in this house you'll listen to me!"
She stood up again.

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP! EVERYONE PLEASE STOP FUCKING TELLING ME WHAT TO FUCKING DO!"

They were silenced and stared at her, eyes wide in amazement. She continued her rant.

"BELLA, EAT YOUR PEAS! BELLLA DO YOUR HOMEWORK! BELLA, LET ME DRIVE! BELLA, DO THIS! BELLA DO THAT! WHEN WILL IT BE BELLA'S TURN TO DO WHAT BELLA WANTS TO FUCKING DO?!"

"Good Lord, Bella, calm down." Charlie said.

"I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! YOU BOTH TREAT ME LIKE A CHILD! I AM NOT A CHILD! I'M GOING OUT AND NO EDWARD, NOT WITH YOU!" She stood up, pushed the stunned Edward out the way and walked out.

Edward and Charlie stared at each other.

"I can't believe…she..she…"
"Sir, I believe we've been dumped. Both of us."
"She'll be back." Charlie said. They both stared at the door.

They waited and they waited. Edward sat down.

"She's not coming back." He sighed.

"It's your fault." Charlie said.

"It is not! It's your fault!"
"No it's yours!"
"It's yours!"
"It's yours!"
The verbal exchange went on for a few minutes. Both kept glancing at the door.

Renee received the cryptic text from her daughter and was waiting for her in the airport. Bella ran from the airplane and into her mother's arms. Renee held her.

"Um, baby girl, is everything alright?"
"Mommy, daddy and my stupid boyfriend are asses! Can I stay with you?"
"Um…sure." She responded.

"Great! I love you, Mommy!"

So she did and met a normal guy and lived happily ever after.
