I haven't written anything in a while so this might get a little interesting…I'm just gonna use this chapter to try to set the scene for the story I guess.
Eyeball, after drifting through space for quite a while, finally finds herself back on Homeworld. She reports the failure to Yellow Diamond who is furious that these "Crystal Gems" are causing her trouble yet again. Though she is also intrigued on how such a small group of renegade gems could defeat an army of rubies and the greatest quartz soldier ever know to Homeworld. She orders a warship and a unit of quartzes and rubies to bring her to Earth to personally shatter the remaining rebels from so long ago. On Earth, the gems are going about their daily lives tracking and poofing corrupted gems. Peridot and Lapis are getting along pretty well making their meep morps in the barn.
