You're a Cheater- A Christmas Themed One-Shot

Christmas time is always a blast for us SOLDIERs. This year, I was celebrating with Angeal, but I don't know where he went. I tried to find him, but wherever I looked that I thought he was, he wasn't there. If I couldn't find Angeal, then my Christmas party with him would be ruined. Right now, I was so down that I didn't even notice that I ran into someone.

That person said, "What's wrong, Puppy?" Wait… I knew that silky voice. Genesis!

So, I turned around and said, "Oh, nothing, Genesis… Have you seen Angeal?" He just shook his head. I thought I saw a smirk on his face, but before I could ask him about it, he walked away. After that, I just sulked in the 1st Class lounge. When I finally looked up, Angeal was looking at me. Since I had just seen him then, I screamed like a little girl. (What, he scared the shit out of me… Literally.)

Snickering, Angeal said, "Genesis said you've been looking for me. Why?"

"I wanted to celebrate Christmas with you, but I couldn't find you, 'Geal. Of course, with Sephiroth and Genesis, too. A couple of my friends, too. But, I need to get…"

"Zackary, we've talked about this. If I'm busy, then don't seek me out. Okay?"

"Fine, 'Geal. But, what about Christmas?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it. Come with me to your apartment." Angeal said.

"But…"

"Now, Zack." He said firmly. I just followed him up to my apartment. When we got up there, Angeal opened the apartment with his key. What I saw made me speechless. That was saying something for me.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS, ZACK!" All my friends yelled to me. When I heard that, I screamed like a little girl, again.

"I think we scared him shitless. Haha. That's nice for a change." Sephiroth said. Everyone else nodded.

Then, I said, "You're a cheater, 'Geal. I hate you, but you know you're one of my best friends, too. Right?"

"Yes. I just thought we should do something for you for a change. So, I got everyone who knows you and who you're friends with and we did this for you. Hit the lights, Cloud." Angeal said.

"Y-yes, sir." Cloud stuttered. He then obeyed Angeal's order and turned on the lights. When I saw everything they did, I practically fainted in awe. Kunsel caught me and made sure I was sitting down. I didn't know what to say because I was so stunned. Everyone knew it, too. I was going to go to the kitchen to make some food, but Genesis just put a hand up. Then, Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis went into the kitchen and I couldn't help but follow them.

When we got in there, I said, "You guys did this for me? *sniffle* I can't thank you enough. Do you know that?"

Angeal said, "Yes, Puppy. We did this for you. Since you do so much stuff for us, we all decided to do something for you. So, here you go. It's our present to you, a Christmas party. We did everything. And we know that you can't really thank us enough. Just be yourself. No drinking, though."
"Awwwww. Why can't we drink?" I asked.

"Because I said so, Zack." Angeal stated firmly.

"Fine. We won't drink. Right, guys?" Everyone else just nodded vigorously. After that, we just had our party of the year. We all had a really great time, even Sephiroth and Genesis did, too. I think next year will be the same if we do this again sometime.
