This was really interesting to write because I had never heard of Isla Black before. I had to look her up on the Harry Potter Wiki. She reminds me a lot of Andromeda, who would follow in her footsteps years later.
Isla was a Black.
Her life was set from the start.
She would be a Slytherin.
She would make connections.
She would marry a pureblood wizard
And have pureblood children.
Her most lasting mark would be her place on the Family Tree.
But then, she met a muggle
{A sweet, wonderful muggle}
And fell in love.
Her life could never again follow the path than had been set for it.
She was an island, cut off from her family
And all that had ever mattered to her,
But she didn't mind living on an island
If Bob Hitchens was there, too.
And her most lasting mark was a burn on the Black Family Tree.
