Author's notes: My friends have come up with alternate endings to my story The Other Daughter so I thought I would post them up as a mini series. They're just for a bit of fun and wont have any spoliers for upcoming chapters and there are not any hints of where the story is going. There could be adult context in them seeing as its my friends writing them. And if anyone has any ideas for an alternate ending I would love to see them so don't hesitate to contact me. Unfortunately, the bullet hit an artery and Danny died.
Steve was so upset that he jumped off a bridge. Of course, this is Hawaii 5-o and the main characters can't die.
What had happened before, whilst Danny was dying, Steve chased Josh out the house. He should have bent down and checked on Danny, figured that Josh had finished his killing. But, no, he was a hothead, he ran for the bad guy.
And this was the mantra he berated himself with as he sat, restrained to his bed, in his hospital room in the mental ward.
Steve never recovered and Chin and Kono eventually stopped coming to see him.

Oh and Steve killed that bitch with a bullet to the brain.
