A/N: Yet another one of my poems, heh. This one was actualy for school, so it doesn't DIRECTLY relate to Naruto, but more villians and heros in general, I guess...? Anyways, enjoy! (P.S.I was suprised how well my Colors poem did. I thought that was my worst one!)

Anti-hero
You say I'm a villain,
I prefer anti-hero.
I never wanted this, you know.
I can see
that you don't believe me.
You're still bitter
from the loss of friends and family.
But that's not fair,
that isn't right.
Yet you still want to fight!
Surely history will show me now
as an evil man
who killed more than the world can allow.
And you,
the hero strong,
taking revenge for all those gone.
Sadly, this isn't quite true.
See, I've live much longer than you,
so I see that in fact
what you do is just and act
for a role you were forced to play
by the "friends" you defend so loyally.
You think I'm lying,
that it isn't true?
Don't you see?
They're completely terrified of you!
So they pretend, lie, and disguise.
They pull a wall over your eyes.
So that you don't see
really, you're just like me!
Both of us have lost those
that we hold so very close.
So now I know
without a doubt.
I've just let my demons out.
While you've tried to keep yours in.
Tried to hide your evil twin.
By the force of sheer will,
you tried to stop the urge to kill
the urge to bite and claw and chew and tear
so you might repair
the soul you've stretched so thin.
The more you try, the less you feel
the longer it takes for your soul to heal.
Trust me, I know
more than I can ever show.
