Part 9 of my Christmas Ficlet Series
Disclaimer: I own nothing
The mistletoe continued to hover over Sam's head for the rest of the day. Anytime he'd go to grab it, it would just rise above his reach. If anyone else tried to grab it they'd get shocked. After 45 minutes of trying everything they gave up and went back to the presents.
Crowley popped in after they'd finished with presents, bringing with him several bottles of eggnog. Which led to them finding out that Adam was a total light weight and he promptly passed out after his 3rd glass. Cas and Dean had gone up to their room, slight giggles, hushed conversations trailing behind them as their hands roamed each other.
Sam followed suit 10 minutes later when Crowley and Bobby starting sitting closer. He just hoped for Adam's sake that he stayed passed out in his armchair till the next morning.
When Sam reached his room, he started to weigh the pro's and cons of going back downstairs.
The first thing he noticed was that the bed was bigger and had red silk sheets. Then mid-roll of his eyes he noticed the ceiling. Not one square inch could be seen due to the whole thing being covered in mistletoe.
"Gabriel!"
There was a chuckle and a flutter from behind him.
"Hey Sammy."
Sam turned around and glared.
"What are you doing?"
Gabriel scoffed, "What does it look like? Just a little kiss"
Sam backed away, hoping the darkness of the room would hide the flush in his cheeks.
"Wh-What if I don't want to kiss you?"
"Come on Sam-I-Am. Did you forget my particular ability to read minds? Yours practically screams when I'm around, almost like it wants me to know everything. Does Dean know all the dirty little things his little Sammy likes to get into in bed? It'd probably make even Crowley brush."
Sam's eyes went wide as he realized just what Gabriel had heard and seen in his mind. His face grew redder and he stammered an attempt at an excuse.
Gabriel smirked and he walked up to Sam, who was too out of it to move away, and trailed a hand along his jaw before stretching up to kiss him.
Sam didn't react at first, just remained in a frozen state before he jumped and pushed firmly against the angel's shoulders till he backed away.
"Gabriel!"
"Already practicing for later Sam?"
Sam chocked and just stared at the archangel.
Gabriel rolled his eyes, chuckling, "Don't try to kid with yourself Sam." He stepped right into Sam's space.
"You want this," he shoved him down onto the bed.
"I want this," he straddled Sam's thighs, his arms holding him up as he leaned down.
"So just stop protesting it and give in." He finished, dropping his head down to trail kisses along Sam's jaw and neck. After a few moments he smirked as he felt Sam's hands trail up his sides before they turned his head so their lips met.
No more protest were heard unless you counted Sam's 'don't stops.'
