Like in other cartoons, also in Ruby Gloom some questions arise and, sometimes, some accounts don't add up.

Contraddictions and Curiosities about Ruby Gloom
- In the episode "Out of this World", Scaredy sleeps upside down, like a normal bat, but in the other episodes he sleeps lying.
- Often, Ruby and the others explore a large system of tunnels and caves under the house. How is it possible since under the house there is only a small layer of ground?
- How could a bat be afraid of the dark?
- In the episode "Gloomer Rumour", Poe hide himself into a huge armor. The same armor appears in different places also in "Missing Buns", "Ruby Cubed", "Lucky me" and "Hair(less) the Musical".
- When Skullboy is disassembled, his clothes misteriously disappear, and appear again when he is assembled.
- How could Ruby play the piano while she's listening to music in "Broken records"?
- In the same episode, Ruby and Iris wear earphones, while in the other episodes there is only normal headphones.
- In "Gloomates" THERE IS ONE OF RUBY'S SOCKS IN SKULLBOY'S BAG!
- During "Forget me not", Scaredy falls down and says "I'm good", acting exactly like Iris
- And when Misery plays the organ, it sound like an accordion.
- How could the two Mr Whites eat? They are ghosts!
- In the episode "Sunny daze" there is a moment when Frank and Len are inverted.
- In the episode "Quadro-Gloomia" Ruby can't see Frank and Len in other people eyes, but Skullboy can. Has he some particular ability?
- If both Skullboy and Ruby know the Skeletunes' "incomprehensible language" (Skullboy learns it in "Skullboys don't cry" and Ruby in "Hair(less) the Musical") why they don't use it to confess their love? The others certainly would not understand it.
- In "Last Train to Gloomsville", Iris breaths pure coal smoke without any consequences
- When Ruby is shot by Iris, in "Gloomer Rumour", she falls out of ground and landed with a sound of water. But out of Gloomsville ground there is only clouds.
- If Misery become hyperactive after eating sugar, why she's not always in that state, due to the huge number of cakes that Ruby prepares?
- In "Hair(less) the Musical", when they have to come back home, there is Doom driving the trolley, and there is no one inside, exept Ruby and the others. Like they have stolen it.
- Gloomsville seems to have changeable grass: normally is purple but sometimes it turnes into green ("Name that Toon", "Gloomates"), yellow ("Hair(less) the Musical") and grey ("Ubergloom")
- In "Frank and Len Unplugged" there are subliminal messages in Misery's rockumentary!
