Thor tells Tony he is sorry that Tony can't get into Valhalla during Secret Ending No. 2. Everyone is confused.
Inspired after I saw Avengers the second time, and encouraged by watching Thor with my father finished because I feel a distinct lack of creativity.
"I am sorry you were unable to ascend to Valhalla, friend Stark."
"I'm sorry, what?" Steve briefly looked up.
"Valhalla! Glorious Valhalla. It is where the warriors come to feast! They are brought by the shield maidens, and spend the days fighting and the nights drinking and feasting. It is magnificent!"
Tony smirked. "Pepper would say I do that too much."
"Nonsense friend Stark! There can never be enough feasting, drinking, and fighting!" Thor pounded the table, shwarma temporarily forgotten in his excitement. "Sif, Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg, Loki, and I spent many happy days there." His face darkened. "Aye. It may be hard to believe, but Loki and I were once as close as brothers."
Natasha leaned across the table to pat him on one brawny arm. "Loki's actions today don't how we feel about you. You're a good man Thor."
"Thank you. You would make an excellent shield maiden Friend Natasha!" Thor boomed. "Some of the best women warriors I know are shield maidens! Just don't tell Sif," he chuckled.
Clint felt it was time to step in and make sure that Natasha was safe. (Not that he didn't trust Thor. It was just…OK, he didn't entirely trust the god.) "What are shield maidens Thor?"
Tony leaned in and Steve's head sank back into his hands. "Yeah Thor. Tell us more about these shield maidens."
Thor took a huge bite of his shwarma before answering. "Shield maidens are the most beautiful and deadly women. They serve the mead in Valhalla at night and save the chosen warriors by day. They…"
