Kal skirata looked down on the destroyed village from his ship. "doesn't look like anything survived" one of his warriors said "the pirate attack really did some damage." "there is still hope. The villagers asked us for help and we are already here" Kal skirata responded.
Ahoska was curious, too curious for her own good her parents said. Last she had seen of them, they told her to stay inside. That was over an hour ago. She need to find out if they were okay.
"mom? Dad?" she said, trying to find out if they were still there. Unfortunately for her, the pirates had heard her. "looks like we found a child." One of them said. "might make a decent slave "another, said, presumably the leader" take her away". At that moment, most of the pirate were struck by yellow blaster bolts, killing many and leaving many other unable to fight. "retreat" the first pirate mentioned, the leader being dead. Ahsoka just stood there not doing anything with all the blaster fire forcing her down. When all the pirates left, Kal skirata removed his helmet and said "its over you can come with us"
"what happened to my parents" she asked
"the pirates killed them, but you will be safe with us ad'ike"
"aright I guess I have no other option."
I don't want to be taking in any more children" the second, slightly c=grumpy mandalorain said" it was enough to save this village, but taking in a kid?"
"we're mandolorians, its what we do"
"fine but don't expect me to be happy about it"
