"I'm telling you, I'm not sick," he mumbles.

A sneeze follows his words.

She raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms.

"Allergies," he explains.

"Liar," she retorts.

She reaches out and feels his forehead.

He swats her hand away.

She knows he's burning up.

"I'll prove to you I'm not sick," he says.

His voice sounds funny. A little high pitched, a bit nasal.

"I'm getting you some soup," she says, getting up from the edge of the bed.

He reaches out for her, thumb beginning to rub circles against the back of her hand.

"No," she response.

"C'mon!" he says. "I didn't even ask!"

Another sneeze. She pulls away.

"Soup, cold medicine, then sleep," she lists out.

He groans. There's no use fighting her in that.

After soup and cold medicine, she joins him in bed.

Book in hand, she flips open to where the bookmark rests.

"Babe…" he whispers.

"Go to sleep," she answers. "I'll be right here."

He sneezes again, wipes his nose with a tissue, then sits up.

"I don't need sleep," he tells her.

"You're sick," she says.

"Not sick," he replies.

Leaning over, he presses his lips to her neck. His hand rests on her lap.

"Puck…" she moans lightly.

"Let me prove it to you."

His hand reaches down, slips under her skirt, then trails up her thigh.

"No!" she slaps his hand with her book. "You're sick! I'm not doing it with a sick person!"

He groans. He won't admit it. He will admit his hormones are going crazy.

"Fine," he concedes. "Fine. Can I at least have some more of that honey mix you gave me earlier?"

"Of course," she answers.

She goes to the kitchen and comes back with the mix, spoon in hand.

She pours him a spoonful and feeds it to him.

"You've got a bit right…" She reaches over and wipes the corner of his mouth.

He follows her hand and licks her finger.

Oh crap.

"This doesn't mean anything," she says, panting.

His breathing's ragged as she pulls away from him and falls back onto the bed.

"So much for you not doing it with a sick person," he smirks.

"You're still not kissing me."

He sneaks in a kiss before they fall asleep for the night.

She wakes up the next morning in a cold sweat, coughing loudly.

Guess it's his turn to nurse her back to health.
