On a gloomy afternoon Rosewood, Pennsylvania had loved ones all gathered around. Some were crying, some were sad, some were distant, and others were quiet with no emotion. Outside the Church four girls dressed in black, walked out together and received a message. Buzz. Ring. Buzz. Ring. The same message reads "I'M STILL HERE, BITCHES…AND I KNOW EVERYTHING.-A". Hanna, Aria, Emily, and Spencer look at each other worried and confused.
After the funeral, the girls went back to their own thing. Each girl had their own secret, which not even the rest of the girls know. During this time Spencer has an older sister whom she always ends up liking the sister's boyfriends. Aria is dating her English professor, and caught her dad cheating with one of his own students. Emily had a boyfriend, whom she was actually cheating with her next door neighbor who happens to be a girl. Last but not least, the prettiest of all the liars, Hannah. She lives with her mother and once was caught shoplifting and her mother slept with the cop o keep it off record.
The four girls went without seeing each other for some time after Ali's funeral. They all kept receiving threatening, anonymous text messages from "A", wanting to expose their secrets. Spencer the new leader of the group sent out "S.O.S. : Ignore A's messages, eventually it will get tired of bothering us and it'll all be over soon."
All four girls gathered at the brew for dinner and discussed the message sent by A. Aria mentioned "Ali knew all of our secrets, but we never knew any of hers."
The girls are beginning to wonder if this "A" is Alison, because only Alison could know everything about them.
Hanna thought, "What if this A person knows what we did to Jenna."
"That's all left behind," said Spencer. Emily added, "No one can know what we did to Jenna Marshal. You all here me? No one."
