Hands clench

A smile reaches

But falls short of quivering blue eyes

Strained

Tormented

He laughs

Brushes aside his hair

With a jerking, twisted convulsion

"I'm alright. I'm alright."

A twitch of his lips

Pearly whites abound

Some days he can smile

But not always

Brilliant

Jovial

Others fall short

And never reach his eyes

He says otherwise

But the truth is within his gaze.

His laughs always mix

Trying to mask despair

Sobbing

Gasping

His breaths rise in tempo

Crescendos of pulsing, throbbing, quivering air

Groping for a light

That was already barely lit and flickering

And now his light is gone.

He was able to stand

On strong, driving legs

Thrusting

Striving

They got him where he wanted

But now collapse like paper cards

Blown in the wind

Scattered to the worlds

Just like his gaze outside.

Once his eyes were blue

Like a virgin summer sky

Sparkling

Innocent

They weep in twisting, writhing rivers

And he can't return to what was

His life before the loss

The bonds now forsaken

Delirium of pain and misery where joy and kindness once stood.

Because they're gone.

All gone.

To the rigid sands of time.

Leaving a repulsive, shameful shell

Of a boy who loved.

I just now realized I really only put this up on my tumblr oh well here ya'll go a little late
