She couldn't believe that this had happened. They knew that she wouldn't give her up but they still made her choose. There was only one person she knew she could talk to and she was miles away. It didn't matter, she had to talk to her. She pulled out her phone and rung the only person she had left.
"Em. Can I come and stay with you? Please I don't have anywhere else to go." She waited on her answer and she didn't know what she would say if Em said no.
"I'll ask Mentor. Do you know when you will arrive?" A female voice replied kindly with a little bit of curiosity.
"As soon as possible if he says yes. I can't stay here any more." She heard that girl on the other end of the phone move and ask someone if her friend could stay. They got into a bit of an argument and then she heard another voice which sounded sort-of familiar jump in. there was a short pause.
"He says you can come. Text when you've arrived and I'll get someone to pick you up. Anyway how are you Eve, I haven't heard from you in ages. Not since I left." Em sounded upset when she said that last bit.
"I'm sorry but Paul and Elizabeth confiscated my phone for misbehaving again. They are soo annoying. Oh yeah, just to let you know I'm bringing someone with me."
"Okay that's fine. See ya soon." With that they both hung up the phone.
"Evelyn have you made arrangements?" A male voice called out.
"Yes Paul I'm staying with Emily. Don't worry, she doesn't know what you're really like or why I'm staying with her."
He had a frown on his face. "Fine just remember you are not welcome back here unless you get rid of that." He said with disgust in his voice.
"Well then I'm not coming back. I won't abandon Esmeralda but remember if Serena's condition gets worse then you must call me as soon as possible. I mean it or I'll tell Emily and she won't be happy." She could see the fear in his eyes. The fear left and anger soon filled them.
"How long will it take to get you and that out of here? Remember you are never coming back so what you don't pack will be thrown away."
She didn't dignify that with an answer and just turned and walked into her room.
