I've always wanted to write something about that one line in What You Want, but I've never gotten around to it. Anyway, enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom!

Danny entered the large house carrying a shiny, metal thermos. He climbed the stairs and slowly opened the door. He grimaced when the door creaked loudly and gave away his presence.

"Who's there? Ah-choo!" The person inside called out. Danny opened the door fully and entered the black-painted room, silently closing the door behind him.

"It's me," he replied.

"Oh, hey, Danny. Thanks for coming over," Sam said as she sat up straight in her bed.

"It's no problem, Sam."

"But weren't you going to hang out with Tucker?"

"I was, but he and I kind of…split up. No big deal, though. Here, I brought you this." He held out the thermos.

"Danny, I still have the thermos you gave me a couple of weeks ago." She sniffled.
"Besides, I'm not about to go ghost hunting in the condition I'm in." She coughed loudly just to prove her point.

"It's not for ghost hunting! My mom made some chicken soup for you, and gave me this to store it in."

"Wow, tell her I said thanks!" Sam told him as she took the thermos from him. She unscrewed the cap and poured some soup into it, then lifted the cap up to her mouth.

"Be careful-she designed that thermos to keep drinks hot for a really long period of time." Sam smiled appreciatively and took a sip. Danny chuckled at the look of wonderment that appeared on her face.

"This soup is excellent!" She exclaimed. She took another sip and drained the cap, then screwed it back on and placed the thermos on her night table.

"This is great, I don't feel congested at all!" she said, then paused. Danny wondered what she was doing when she suddenly held her head back and flared her nostrils.

"Sam, what-"

"Ah-CHOO!" Sam looked up and saw Danny blinking. Then she noticed his shirt. His shirt that was now covered in her snot.

"Oh my gosh, Danny, I'm so sorry!" She reached for a tissue to try and wipe the snot off his shirt, but he held his hands up and she stopped.

"Sam, it's okay. No big deal, really. Oh yeah, I almost forgot-check out this new power I got!" He transformed and held up a hand, which was now radiating green energy.

"I can shoot these really cool energy blasts now!" he said, but Sam had closed her eyes and slumped back down into her bead.

"That's awesome, Danny…" she mumbled.

"Are you okay, Sam?" Danny asked, concerned.

"Fine, just…tired. Thanks for coming over, Danny."

"It's no problem, Sam. You're my fried, of course I'll come over when you're sick," he began, but she had fallen asleep. He smiled softly, leaned down, and planted a kiss on her warm forehead.

"Get well soon, Sammy," he whispered, then left the room.

The next day

Danny sniffled as he walked into school that morning. He pushed aside any concern about his health for the moment, though. Tucker had mysteriously acquired ghost powers, and he needed to find out how. Speaking of which…

"Hey, Danny. Are you okay? You don't look so good." Tucker asked as the two met up next to the custodial office.

"I think I'm catching Sam's cold. But that's not the point-"

"What, were you two making out while she's sick?"

"Tucker…"
