Author's Note -- This is my second fanfiction. I hope you like it! Well, let's get started with the first chapter.

Cody walked down the hallways of Paul Revere Junior High School, heading for the school paper (the Revere Express) office. As editor of the newspaper, it was his responsibility to be there first every morning. He sat down at his desk at began typing the front page article for the next day's paper. Then, the British twins, Jessica and Janice, walked in. Janice was doing the health column and Jessica was doing the beauty column. Jessica walked over and took a seat at her laptop, and began writing her column. Janice, however, walked over to Cody. Cody stood up and smiled.

"So, are we still going to the cinema tonight?" Janice asked.

"Of course we are!" Cody said to his girlfriend. Janice kissed him on the cheek and walked over to her desk and began typing. Cody sat back down and did the same. Bob, the sports reporter, and Barbara, the investigative reporter, walked in as well. They both sat down at their desks and got right to work.

"Ooh, I have the perfect story for tomorrow's paper!" Barbara said.

"Good. Then write it down," Cody said.

"I hope it's good," Jessica said.

"Really good," Janice agreed.

"Really, really, good," Jessica replied.

"Really, really, really good," Janice said.

"It will be really, really, really, really, good," Barbara said in a British accent. The twins huffed and got back to work. As the group worked, meanwhile, Zack and his girlfriend were hanging out in the cafeteria, eating breakfast.

"So, Darlene, how do you like the breakfast?" Zack asked.

"Oh, it's really good," Darlene replied, taking a bite out of her biscuit. After swallowing it, she looked at Zack. She kissed him on the cheek. "I've got to go to class early to finish a test. But I'll see you at lunch, okay, sweetie?" Darlene said innocently.

"Sure, pumpkin," Zack replied. Darlene started walking off. Zack finished his breakfast and headed off to class. Sure enough, when he got there, Cody was already there, reading. He sat down beside his brother. "Hey Codester," he said.

"Oh, hi Zack," Cody said. Cody closed his book. "So, how'd breakfast with Darlene go?"

"Good," Zack said. "We're eating together at lunch, too."

"Cool! Janice and I are, too. Maybe we could like double-date."

"Good idea."

"Alright, class, pay attention, today we are going to learn about the American Civil War. Now, can anyone tell me who the president was during the American Civil War?" the teacher began. Cody raised his hand. "Yes, Mr. Martin?"

"Huh?" Zack said.

"Not you, Mr. Martin, your brother," the teacher said. "Yes, Cody, go ahead," he finished.

"Abraham Lincoln, sir," Cody said with a smile.

"Correct!" the teacher replied as he took a piece of candy off his desk and threw it to Cody. "That's one piece of candy for Cody – the first one to get it, as always," the teacher said matter-of-factly. The door swung open suddenly, and there, standing in the door way, was Agnes. She walked in.

"Sorry I'm late!" Agnes said as she scooted in a seat right next to Cody. "Hi Codylicious," Agnes said flirtatiously.

"Oh no," Cody said, hiding his face in his hands.
