Walking across the beach, Ariel was suddenly startled again as a speck of green light flew in front of her. Immediately she knew it was Tinkerbell, and the princess stopped walking so the fairy could say what she needed to say.
"THAT STUPID PETER PAN!" she yelled in anger. "He lets the mermaids treat me like I'm nothing more than a leaf." She frowned and crossed her arms as she pouted. "It hurts me feelings."
As Ariel opened her mouth to answer, she noticed something else out of the corner of a blue eye, flying across the sky. She narrowed her eyes as she focused in on what she saw to be Peter Pan as he approached Tink and Ariel.
Looking behind her, Tinkerbell also saw Peter, and gasped before zipping over to Ariel, hiding herself in some of the former mermaid's long red hair. She peeked out to see that Peter had landed on the sand in front of Ariel.
"Hiya, Ariel!" The boy said cheerfully. He crossed his arms an stuck out his tongue at Tinkerbell. "Whatcha been talking about?"
Ariel smiled at the young boy and replied, without a second thought, "Tink was just telling me how you hurt her feelings by letting the mermaids make fun of her and great her as if she were a leaf." Just then, the redhead felt a tiny pinch on her shoulder and turned her head to see an angry and embarrassed Tinkerbell glaring up at her. Realizing what she'd done, Ariel blushed furiously and whispered, "Oops."
