Ash has appeared on the radar of team Rocket but for a reason unknown to team Rocket Giovanni has taken a particular interest in the boy tracking him for Kento to Alola and now he arranged a function in his gym for Ash what is planning? And why? I know the title is not inconspicuous but for those who figured what it is about please still read.

Please note I do not own pokémon nor do I what I write I think is true it's just I thought I would be an interesting idea to play with. ok?

Three bumbling idiots were running though the headquarters of team Rocket to meet their boss and in his office and standing straight as a needle when being questioned their boss said, " I need to know is this Pikachu as strong as you say it is?"

Jessie said, " Yes sir it has the ability to absorb an abnormal amount of electricity…"

James said, " Rumor has it that it absorbed an lightning bolt to save it's trainer from a huge flock of sparrows."

The boss said, " That is most interesting most Pikachus would have die taking in that much electricity. You said his name Ash Ketchum and he's from Pallet town?"

James said, " Yes sir!"

Meowth said, " If I may say Dat thunderbolt really packs quite a punch."

The boss said, " Listen to me and listen to me well you are to follow him and take that Pikachu and what Pokémon he has on him but be warned if he's has this potential as you say 8 my have use for once that involves him being healthy so… IF EVEN ONE HAIR ON HIS HEAD IS CUT OF BY YOU THREE I WILL PUNSH YOU LIKE THE LIKES TEAM ROCKET HAS NEVER SEEN IN IT'S HISTORY!"

Fear descended on their face seeing pure wrath on his face made them comply.

"This is a most interesting development."

A/N: that this is form their first encounter with Ash

Fast forward the Ash's first league battle

a lady said, " Giovanni sir, it's time."

Giovanni the hand of team Rocket turned on the T.V and said, " Let's just see, if your as good as those idiots say you are?"

Giovanni said, " Interesting he purposefully chose a type disadvantage let's see what he has plan.?"

Five minutes later

Giovanni said, " He whitewashed him granted the first pokémon was by pure luck but still Mandy was considered a prodigy in Pokémon battling. You just may have a future in the league Ash."

Fast forward to Orange League

Ash said, " Pikachu finish it off with thunderbolt!"

Giovanni said, " Congratulations kid you earned it. Called Jessie, James and Meowth, NOW!"
