This was written for the forum 'Criminal Minds Weekly Prompts' if you haven't been there, I suggest you check it out! They have games and of course, weekly prompts. Go check it out! Besides prompts, they have games, reviewing activities, chat and pairing/character threads!
This prompt is:
Write a fic through the eyes of an inanimate object, (but you could use fruit/food ect) in a team members house and how they see the individual.
OR Option B: Write a fic through the eyes of an animal, like a pet.
Related to my last prompt entry, Jack's new pet.
His big brown eyes watched the boys every move. Oh please, pick me, he thought pitifully, staring up at him.
First the boy examined the birds. The puppy's eyes never left the boy. He saw a bigger man watching from the edge of the store where he spoke with the owner. His father, thought the puppy missing his own.
Finally, the boy moved away from the birds and instead moved towards the kittens. The puppy let out a whine. He'd been so sure he would come over here.
The puppy watched impatiently as the boy peered at the kittens, an expression of excitement on his face. The puppy was so sure he was about to choose a kitten when he walked over to the dogs!
He was growing impatient. The boy first looked at the collie puppies and he let out a little yap. Look at me!
After what seemed like an eternity, the boy came over to his cage! His brothers and sisters all ran forward, excited but he stayed back, trying to catch the boy's eyes and that's when he saw him. And his heart leapt when he told his dad he wanted him.
And now, here sat the golden retriever puppy, wriggling with joy in the car. Going to his new home .
