People say he wasn't observant and didn't think,that he floated through life with a smile and tune on his lips and every one and a while a cigarette.
But he was observant,not in the Oh Namines cut her hair or the Look at Riku's new skateboard he was more observant in the way that he noticed Roxas was wearing long sleeves even in the hot July weather or the way the he noticed Sora's eyes straying to riku and staying there longer than a best friends should.
He didn't do much with these observations,maybe just leave a comment at Roxas saying''Hey buddy you coming to my party right?Wouldn't be right without ya,we'd miss you to much'' and tell Axel he should bring Roxas shopping,his clothes were too he would ''accidently''trip Sora so he would fall right into Riku's arms like in the movies and say to Riku ''Sora looks real nice today doesnt he?Heard The new guy at school was going to ask him out,you know the really creepy one with long hair'' and his job would be all well and done.
He did think to,more deeply than people thought about how he was scared for his baby sister,he didn't what her to see all the big,bad,scary things there were in the world and about how he didn't know what he was going to do after school,music wasn't going to pay the bills and his mom was wasting away with three jobs and two teenage kids/
So he start looking for job's because graduation was in two months and he smiled and said ''about damn time'' when he saw Riku and Sora making out and told Roxas that he was worth the world,when the golden haired boy confessed he thought he wasn't worth anything,like everybody else because he was a good friend.
He struggled through it,but made everything okay,with a smile and tune on his lips and every one in a while with a cigarette.
