It's the first day of High-school. I woke up to the sound of my Dad saying, "Honey wakeup you're going to be late for school." I probably shouldn't have watched a full season of "Doctor Who" last night. "Ugh" I moaned. I looked at the time "crap its 7:30". School starts at 8:15. I jumped out of bed and looked in my closet trying to decide what to wear on my first day of high-school.

I know that doesn't sound like me I'm a tomboy. I just through on a pair of ripped jeans, a loose orange shirt, and black jacket and black converse shoes, when I went downstairs and saw someone sitting at the table, "Dad who is that". "Well, I've been meaning to tell you that Jessica and I have been dating for a while" he replied. "Whatever, what's for breakfast"? I said changing the subject. "Um whatever you want" He said. "I'll just get something at school, bye dad."

I arrived at the first bell and ran into the doors. I bumped into someone and he said, Sorry, I'm Jason what's your name." He said "It was kind of my fault; hi I'm Piper Mclean I'm new here". "I could tell…So there is a back to school party at my house after school want to come". "Sure, I have to get to class; do you know where U.S History is?" "Yeah that's my class too".

"Hi, I'm Anna Beth Chase; Want to sit with me and Thalia Grace and Jason at lunch". The girl said when the bell rang after class. "Sure, Jason asked me to come to a party at his house". "Oh you saw him already". "Yeah you could say that". "What?'" "Oh I bumped into Jason when I walked into school" I said. "Oh" Thalia Replied

"Our next class is…..Math?" I said. "Yea", Anna Beth said.

Someone came up behind me really close I guessed who it was. "Jason…What are you doing" I shouted. "Um….." Jason Mumbled. "Whatever... you weirdo. " I whispered.

"Finally it's Lunch" I said as Thalia and Anna Beth walked towards me.

"So what's for Lunch?" I asked. "You mean you didn't bring your own?" "No", I replied. "Next time bring your Lunch…It's the worst food ever, except on Fridays they have Free Vito's Pizza", Anna Beth Casually said. "Thanks for the heads up" I replied. "I have an Extra sandwich if you want it?" Thalia Asked. "Sure" I replied.

"I think my brother Likes you Piper", Thalia said. "What… I doubt it." I said surprisingly. "He totally likes you", Anna Beth said confidently.

After the last to classes school is over. "Hey Piper"… A boy Called. "Huh" I said confusingly realizing that it was Jason. "Do you want me to walk you home", he asked. "I guess" I replied. "So, Piper I… I… I'm in love with you." He said. I stopped and said. "Okay… so what does that mean", I replied. "Um… Do you want to….um date me?" he asked. "I'll think about… I don't know if I like you back… I'll tell you tomorrow.
