"Rosalie", my mother greeted me. This was my first day at Forks, Washington. Well my first day of living here forever. I came from traveling with my dad all over the country to live with my mom. My dad had too much work and I couldn't take it anymore if he brought another gold-digger or slut home. I liked where he went and when the sluts weren't home he was comfortable to be with but other than that it was Hell or Boring Hell. There wasn't even any fun at all.

"Hey Mom", I replied quietly, giving her a hug. I felt two big emotions hit then: Sorrow and Gratefulness. Sorrow, because I felt bad that it was I that had neglected her all this. The other: Gratefulness, because I had a mother and she didn't hate me for not wanting her like I did my dad.

She let me in the house where I had grown up. Her and my dad split when I was six years old. It was also kind of my fault. I lead her to the bedroom where his slut was. She wasn't surprised at all, I think. So that was my family life.

Alice POV

"Jasper?" I yelled out. "We're going to be late."

I heard a whoosh and he was right behind me. "All right, Emmet! Finally!"

I gave Jasper the keys and went in the back. When we finally arrived at school, like always the students stared at us. It was starting to get old, really quickly and it was only the second month of school. I was a sophomore, Jasper a junior and Emmet a senior. Lucky.

We went through all of our classes. Like always it was the same boring knowledge. We went back home, on the way I had a vision. You see I am a bit of a seer. Cool, ain't it. Emmet was going to be so happy.

3 months later

I was in heaven. These past 3 months were heaven.

I had met Emmet Cullen in Gym class. I had bumped into him and embarrassed myself so much. But it wasn't my fault he had such cute curly hair and big golden eyes. I learned the reason later, much later. The man I had fallen in love with was a vampire. I learned about it after my old friend from La Push told me about it or well she joked about it. I believed it, though. I was taken with him from the beginning.

The first month he ignored me. The next, he tried talking to me but it would always end in a fight or argument. The third, I found out about him and told him and suddenly I felt like I couldn't live without him.

Today I was going to his house.

The house was beautiful. I met his mother and his father. Dr. Cullen was handsome and his wife, Esme was really kind. He showed the whole house except one part: the third floor. Apparently no one was allowed there. He didn't even know why. Only the Doctor was allowed.
