Rewritten/published because the first version wasn't good. Enjoy!
"Davidson High School?" Fury asked, hands behind his back as he looked at the screen.
"Yeah, kind of a boring name for a high school harboring super-kids." Stark laughed, sipping his coffee. "But, they're there."
Fury nodded, "They're going to have to be dealt with." He turned to face the team of Avengers sitting around the table. "These kids are strong, but they don't know that." Fury hit a button on a small remote, and videos started playing on the screen. A black kid racing across a football field in less than a second, a tall boy jumping off a roof top and flying back up with pure-white wings.
"I'm sending in a team to scout out the group, see how many there are, and then get to know them. Look at their social structure, how they react with regular kids, and if they have a leader. If so, what qualities does that leader possess?"
"The main idea is that we keep these kids safe from both others and themselves." Fury said boldly, "Captain, Stark, Banner, Thor, Spider Man, and Hawkeye, you're all going. Dismissed."
"So, why do we have to babysit again?" Hawkeye grouched as they walked out of the room.
"To make sure that they don;t end up as cocky as you." Spider Man said, walking past him.
Avengers, ready to launch.

"Seems the Avengers, including my brother, have taken an interest in this school." Loki tapped the photo of Davidson high school. "Get my ship ready. We're going to take what they want before they even get there." He grinned evilly. The young Avengers will be mine. . .
So the prologue sucks. Big deal. Actually, the next chapters are way better. Id est, longer, funnier. Lot's of the Spider Man/Iron Man type of geek-humor.
