AN:I know I said I would update in a week but I got sidetracked for a really long time with everything I had to do. Every time I tried to type out a story I had something to do and I just could not get the story to work out as far as I've planned it so I'm rebooting the whole thing and starting it off in a new direction. I'm gonna fix the first chapter and then give you a brand new chapter two. It only came to my mind recently that Oga was transferring not enrolling and the whole fight with Tojou that destroyed Ishiyama in the first place happened in their summer break. I have decided to move all of the events in the Beelzebub timeline back by a month due to the outcome of the polls
Ogre on campus: Prologue
Monster. Oga had been called a monster very often along with other names such as Mad dog, Demon,Ogre,Assface,Bastard,Asshole and more recently Child rearing badass. He'd always known that his strength was monstrous or his attitude was like that of a monster. So what was this supposed school for monsters, Youkai Academy?
Dear Oga Tatsumi
We have recently heard of the news that you destroyed Ishiyama high school with a burst of demonic power and because of that incident you've been branded as a threat to human society. You are invited to attend the rest of the school year at Youkai Academy where you will relearn how to be human along with other monsters. A bus will be sent tomorrow and a room has been prepared. Do not worry about tuition since the school has decided that you are a special case and has given you a full scholarship.
Sincerely, Headmaster of Youkai Academy.
"What the fuck is this?" Oga hadn't been expecting the letter to be normal, but he hadn't been expecting this either. He wasn't that bad, was he? Sure he was violent from time to time and had taken to the art of planting people in walls, but a threat to human society? He just reacted like a rational person would to an unprovoked attack and then immediately kicked their ass and if he was feeling particularly snippy that day then he would administer a few cruel and inhumane acts of torture, but in his defence they attacked him first.
Besides destroying the school had been an accident and he would've died if he hadn't hit something. The school just happened to be the nearest target available to punch at that moment, so you really couldn't blame him for that. He was just a normal human who happened to be super awesome at fighting and had been chosen to be a parent of a demon king for one reason or another.
He was completely normal ...probably. This school for monsters sounded sort of fishy, but it wasn't like he had a school to go to right now. This just made things more convenient for him. The first thing he'd have to do was tell his parents, so he came out of his room and went downstairs to the kitchen where his mom was busy cooking and his dad was on the sofa reading a newspaper.
"I got a scholarship to some school called Youkai Academy"
"YOU GOT A SCHOLARSHIP" Oga's mother dropped the plates she had been holding and his father ripped his newspaper in half due to shock.
Sometimes Oga really wished that his parents would be more normal like him "Jeez, you don't have to be so surprised about it. I can get a scholarship you know"
Oga's parents were still left speechless with equal parts shock and fear. First Misaki got into college and now Oga had a scholarship. Was this a sign that the world was gonna end?
Seeing that his parents weren't gonna be in their right minds anytime soon. He decided to leave to go tell Furuichi of the news, hoping that he would react the same way. "I'll be leaving, but if you have any questions here's the letter and brochure from the Academy"
"YOU GOT A SCHOLARSHIP!" Furuichi shouted with eyes bulging at the news.
Yep, moments like these were exactly the reason why he was friends with Furuichi. No one else could've made such a brilliant Tsukkomi coupled with the appropriate body actions and pitch. Oga looked up from the TV to stare at his friend "Well, It's that you know"
"That?"
"That"
"What the hell is that?" Furuichi retorted once again with another Tsukkomi
Oga was barely holding the laughter in. He had been waiting to try that one ever since Hilda and Alaindelon had done it to him. Furuichi was just so much fun to mess with because he was so idiotic.
"You're thinking some rude things about me, aren't you?"
He would definitely miss Furuichi and his antics. Furuichi may have been a perverted creep that was into little girls, but he was also one of the best guys to hang out with.
"That rotten smile on your face tells me that you just insulted me a lot in your head" Furuichi had known Oga for years now and was used to his shenanigans, but this may be the first time that they would attend different schools. Furuichi had attended Ishiyama because if he had left Oga by himself then that barbarian would rampage and destroy until nothing was left. He liked to think of himself as the unsung hero that single handedly saved Ishiyama from being destroyed far earlier than it would've if the damn brute had been left on his own.
"You're getting your revenge by insulting me back in your head, aren't you?"
However, There was a silver lining between the dark clouds that were Ishiyama and Oga. He had managed to meet plenty of beautiful girls and now that Oga was gone it was his time to shine. That idiot could do whatever the hell he wanted at that Youkai Academy, but he would get the last laugh since now he had a chance to score with Kunieda and Hilda. He could imagine it now, Hilda and Kunieda confessing his love to him in racy lingerie and then afterwards they would go to his room to- *POW*
Furuichi didn't have a chance to finish his fantasy before Oga suddenly flicked him in the head with the force of a jack hammer. "What the hell was that for?" He asked while rubbing the spot on his forehead which was already starting to swell.
"Well you had this creepy look on your face and then you started bleeding out of nowhere. I just thought that maybe an evil spirit was possessing you or something,so I gave it the ol' holy flick of doom" In truth Oga felt that Furuichi was insulting him in his head, so he decided to hit him.
"What kind of ghost would disappear from a flick?" Furuichi didn't even need an answer for that. All he needed was to get Oga out of his house, so that he could take care of some *ahem,Cough, cough* 'personal' business.
"So anyway. I'll be leaving tomorrow to go to school and if anyone asks I'm" Oga didn't have the chance to finish before Furuichi grabbed him by the shoulders and started pushing him out of his house.
"Bye. See you. Send me a postcard" Furuichi slammed the door and then went back to his room to take care of a rather 'hard' problem.
Oga looked with confusion at the house he had been kicked out of "What the hell was that all about?"
"Dabu" Beel answered from his sitting position on Oga's head.
"He wanted some privacy for one reason or another?"
"Da"
Oga somehow understood all of Beel's Da's and Dabu's and left to go back to his house... after he finished sneaking back in to Furuichi's house to steal all of his toilet paper which he sensed that Furuichi would need for some reason as revenge for kicking him out.
Oga really wasn't looking forward to go back to his house. Hilda should've heard the news from his parents by now and since this was a boarding school that meant that Oga and Beel would have to live there which meant she would be separated from her young master and knowing Hilda she'd rather go on a date with Furuichi before she allowed that to happen. If he was lucky he might be able to get off with only slight maiming, but then again since when was he ever lucky?
Oga gathered his courage, walked up to the front door, opened it and awaited whatever Hilda would say or possibly beat into him. He kept his eyes closed for about five seconds before he noticed something strange. Hilda was right in front of him and was not trying to kill him for some odd reason.
She was just standing there with a letter in her hands and looking at him "What are you doing?"
"What are you doing?"
Hilda sighed in irritation. She did not have time for any of Oga's antics at the moment "Just sit down. I have heard the news from your parents about your enrolment in Youkai Academy"
Oga did not sit down until he made sure that Hilda umbrella/sword was no where in sight and even then he maintained a healthy distance before finally sitting down on his couch.
"Do you even know what kind of situation you're in right now?" Hilda shouted at the man who was taking this so calmly.
Oga was silent, seemingly deep in thought before replying "Yeah, I'm going to a school for monsters"
Hilda facepalmed at Oga's blunt summarisation of the current situation "I don't know what the headmaster is thinking by inviting you. The relationship between monsters and demons is rocky enough as it is"
Oga didn't know why Hilda was so worked up about this. A school for monsters sounded pretty cool to him and now that he had beaten the strongest of Ishiyama maybe it was time to go to greener pastures. If anything at least it wouldn't be boring like the years he spent in Kataka middle school. This Youkai Academy might not be the safest place, but since when had he ever wanted to be safe? He was currently raising a demon lord at a school for would be thugs and had recently accidentally destroyed a school on purpose. He was pretty sure his life was crazy enough as is, so why not make it crazier and add monsters into the mix.
Besides this way he could also cross off monsters on his list of discovered supernatural creatures which he had made with a friend back when he was still in his old hometown. He had crossed off demons, the tsuchinoko and now he could cross off monsters on that list 'Wait, do the Yoppolu aliens count as aliens or demons?' Oga pondered that thought with the same curiosity as one would when thinking about the answer to life the universe and everything which Oga could tell you was 42.
Hilda sighed in irritation once she saw that Oga wasn't listening to her explanation of political relations between the monster and demons world. She had even prepared a puppet show to teach the young master of what was happening, but clearly the two of them weren't listening so she wrapped it up "I've contacted the demon lord about this issue and he has sent me a message about what we should do. He said, and I quote
Ehhh, When did I send my son to the human world? Oh, wait, I remember now it was to destroy all the humans right. Tell him to get right back to that after going to Youkai academy. I kind of remember making a bet with Mikogami about that and if I win then he's paying for my trip to vegas and when the demon lord gets going. Nothing can stop him. Ciao! Hilda finished reading the message.
'Did he seriously forget that he had decided to destroy humanity a few months ago?' Oga didn't know whether having this kind of demon lord was good because this meant he could go and wreck some havo- study in peace like a normal student at Youkai Academy or bad because this lord forgot that he had ordered the extinction of the human race and treated it like losing his car keys.
"I've received permission from the headmaster to visit weekly, but during the time when I'm gone. I expect you to be on your best behaviour. Is that clear?" Hilda said in a tone that would make the strictest drill sergeant green with envy.
"I'm always behaved" Oga would've been more convincing if there hadn't been a baby playing on his head, messing with his hair.
Hilda looked at the two of them and immediately made plans for the impending war between monsters, demons and humans. Oga could manage to make a simple grocery trip into a blood bath. She really wasn't looking forward to what he could do at a school for monsters. Hilda didn't know whether Oga would bring peace or turmoil to Youkai Academy, but she did know one thing. Youkai Academy was in for one hell of a ride this year.
AN:Finally I finished fixing this damn chapter. I think I've improved my writing skill over the year and can now successfully write somewhat decently. I'll be posting the new Chapter two very soon. Maybe even today if I'm lucky, but for now bye
