Disclaimer: I don't own the teen titans!
Raven was at the edge of a cliff, besides a huge tree. The night was hot, steamy. She felt broken as the events of earlier tonight flashed by her memory. She and Red-X had been together for months now, secretly. She had never told a soul. But she'd seen his eyes, blacker than night and twice as mysterious. She longed to see them again; her skin yearned to be touched once more by those callused hands. Her ears ached for his soft voice caressing her name with his faint russian accent. And her lips. Her lips burned for his silken counterparts. Every thing about her needed him. The Titans did not understand why she stood petrified whilst they fought him. Nor did they understand why she cried when he slipped and fell into the ocean.
A gust of cold wind came with the fozen rain and the gelid morning. She remembered his promise then "Always when you need me little bird. I'll be there when the world collapses around you." Sobs broke her lips once again. That had been the night when she most needed him, and his ears were deaf to her pleas. Then cold arms wrapped them selves around her. "I thought I woulodn't make it little bird. But I'm here. I'll never leave you now." His voice rapsed in her ears. She turned in his amrs and kissed him. Suddenly, it was very warm indeed.
When Raven returned to the tower it was night again. This time gentle and cool to the touch, the blanket of darkness brought and ill sense of ease. Starfire had been the first to see it. "Thank glorb'nrak. She's no longer broken!"
