A Shocking Realization

Matt stretched out lazily across Tai's bed. Watching with half lidded eyes as Tai walked into the room and stretched, his shirt sliding up to reveal a thin section of his stomach.
Matt's eyes lingered on Tai's exposed skin, before they lazily worked their way up to meet Tai's own.
Then Matt blinked, and shot up into a sitting position.
"Oh my god."
Tai frowned and looked around, "Um, what?"
Matt's eyes were wide, "I think .. I think I just checked you out."
Tai cocked an eyebrow, "What?"
Matt rubbed furiously at his eyes, "I checked you out! I was turned on by my best friend!"
Tai couldn't help it, he had to smile, "Matt, you need to calm down a bit."
"I can't calm down! I just checked you out, and liked what I was seeing! This is so wrong on so many levels."
Tai smiled softly, "Why's it so wrong? It's really not that big of a deal."
Matt blinked, "What?"
"It's not that big of a deal. It's not wrong to be attracted to a guy."
Matt stared at him, "You've checked out a guy before?"
Tai shrugged, "Yea, why not? I'm very open. If I happen to see someone I'm attracted to, I'm not going to let a simple matter like their gender bother me."
Matt continued to stare, "Your gay?"
"I'm not gay," Tai laughed, "I'm just open, I guess. I like girls."
"So your greedy."
"I think the appropriate term is bisexual."
Matt continued to stare and Tai laughed as he plopped down next to Matt.
"It's really not that big of a deal."
Matt frowned, "Then how come you've never told me that you've been interested in guys before?"
Tai shrugged, "I've never told you when I've been interested in girls. I'm not keeping it a secret, I'm just not throwing it in people's faces."
"So you think it's okay that I just checked you out."
Tai smiled, "I've checked you out on many occasions. So yea. I also like how you just blurted it out."
Matt blushed, "I didn't mean to, it was just a shocking realization."
They sat in silence for awhile before Matt turned to Tai, a smirk on his lips.
"So .. you've checked me out, eh?"
Tai looked away, a faint blush tingeing his cheeks, "Yea."
"I am a sexy devil, aren't I?"
"Your big headed, that's what you are."
"Your greedy."
"You're a bitch."
"That's why you love me." Matt said as he smiled warmly at his friend.
Tai smiled back, then lifted up his shirt a bit, "Want another peek?"
A pillow connected swiftly with Tai's face and as he fell off the bed Matt smiled triumphantly.
"Greedy Bastard."
