They would never have guessed Zoey and James were going to turn up at Vaccaro's that night. No one at PCA could afford the prices of the expensive restaurant, and so they were sure they were safe to go on a date there, without having to search for anyone who might recognise them. And that was why they were caught by the other couple as they were eating their lobsters. They didn't even have enough time to make up a cover story, as they were too lost in each other's eyes to notice Zoey and James standing in front of the main desk.
"Oh my Gosh!" Zoey exclaimed, noticing that the two were obviously on a date.
The couple realised they had been caught. There was no covering the fact that it was a date either, as they had been feeding each other from their forks and were just leaning in for a kiss. Both Logan and Quinn's eyes widened comically, mouths forming 'o's in shock.
"Um… are you guys actually on a date?" Zoey asked them, slightly unsure about what she was asking them. Apart from the fact that they were about to kiss, they never seemed like the type of people to get together.
She thought Quinn had more sense than to go out with Logan.
Quinn's face scrunched up in embarrassment, while Logan's face had a shy smile.
"Yeah. I decided my girlfriend deserved a nice date, so we came here so we weren't caught by anyone from PCA. We were sort of in a secret relationship…" Logan trailed off.
"Oh." was all James could reply. Zoey looked like she wanted to say something, but was forcing herself not to.
"I know what you want to say Zoey, so you might as well say it." Quinn told the blonde haired girl with a sigh.
"YOU'RE LOGAN'S GIRLFRIEND?!" She shout/whispered, aware that they were in a fancy restaurant.
"Yeah, I thought I made that clear when I said 'my girlfriend'…" Logan said, slightly amused.
"Look Zoey, during the time I've been going out with Logan, I've noticed that he's changed a lot." Quinn sent a small, shy smile at her boyfriend. "I really don't know why you guys hate him." She chuckled at the dramatic, and fake, shock on Logan's face. "He's really just a misunderstood, and really sweet, guy."
"Thanks Quinn." Logan told his girlfriend with a smile. He leaned over the table slightly to kiss her cheek, which caused her to blush bright red.
The other couple had to smile.
Zoey rolled her eyes, and realised what she had to do.
"We'll have our date another day. You two have fun, and you better explain yourselves tomorrow morning. I promise not to say anything to anyone tonight, but tomorrow is a different matter." She warned them, and then, with a wave, she pulled James out of the restaurant.
"Well, that could've gone worse." Quinn told Logan.
"Yeah, apart from the fact that our secret's been uncovered, I'm glad our date didn't get ruined. And, I'm glad that we've been discovered. Now I can kiss you whenever I want, and I don't have to pretend to hate you anymore." Logan told her with a cocky smirk.
Quinn rolled her eyes, but leaned over to give the boy a kiss anyway.
They would deal with their friends later, but they were going to spend the rest of the night away from abuse and questioning.
