Will You Still Hold Me?
A Twilight poem
This poem is written from Edward's POV and it will tie in with a new story I working on, so I suppose this is the introduction of sorts. Reviews would be nice, especially since I'm not that great at poetry… Also, bonus points if you can tell me who Edward is referring to in each stanza.

Will you still hold me like I'm your refuge
Even after I confess I'm not perfect?
Will you still kiss me the same way
Even after I tell you I've committed a crime?
Will you love me with everlasting love
That I surely don't deserve?
Can I give you everything you need
Even when you don't need anything but me?
Can I find the courage to stay
When my instincts are screaming "RUN!"?
Can I hold myself together
Because without you, I fall apart
Will he ever forgive me for what I've done
Or will I forever be evil in his eyes?
Will he ever regard me as equal
Or will I forever be below him?
Will he break what trust I have in him
Or will he stay true to his word?
Can she learn to let go
Even when it's like letting a part of herself die?
Can she let the past stay in the past
Or will she always treat the past like the present?
Can she persuade me to stop
What I know needs to be done?
I guess I'll have to wait and find out…
