Evil Cousins
It has been SO long since I've written a fanfiction. But here I am! This is the first story of Lola and James that I'm writing (there's fanfictions of James and Lola on Wattpad). SO I hope y'all enjoy this story! Also, James has a sister in this story, and his last name is Jones. Also, Lola has went to Art School and has graduated and now she is twenty five and James is thirty one).
Chapter One
James Jones stood in front of Lola Perez's parents house, breathing in and out, worried for his life. He was about to ask the most important question of his life: he was about to ask for Lola's parents blessing, so he can propose to Lola on her birthday which was in two days. James breathed in and out, and he pushed Lola's parent's doorbell, hoping everything will turn out alright. Lola's parent's love you so you don't have anything to worry about, James thought in his head. All of a sudden the door opened, revealing Gracie Perez.
"James what a surprise" Gracie said with a smile. "What are you doing here?"
"I want to ask you and your husband a question" James told her.
"Well come in, come in" Gracie said, motioning James to come inside.
When James stepped into the house, James was met with the familiar smell of lavender. He saw a bunch of photos of Lola, and the house was clean as usual (the Perez's were clean freaks).
"Henry, James is here!" Gracie yelled for her husband. James followed Gracie into the living room, motioning for James to sit down which James obliged. He sat down on the green couch that Lola got as a present for her parents two months ago, and he sat silently, hoping that everything would go OK with Lola's parents. A minute later, Henry Perez came into the living room and when he saw James he smiled.
"James, how's it going?" James stood up and he shook hands with Henry, and he sat back down on the couch, Mr. and Mrs. Perez sitting down on the blue couch that was right across from James.
"What did you need to ask us?" Henry wanted to know, staring at James.
James breathed in and then out, and then he spoke.
"Mr. and Mrs. Perez, I'm in love with your daughter...and-"
Mr. Perez put his hand up and that make James stop. Mr. Perez and Mrs. Perez looked at each other with a smile, and they turned back to us.
"You have our blessing to marry our daughter" Mrs. Perez said. The minute she said that, James started smiling.
"Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Perez."
"We should have a surprise party at the beach house" Mr. Perez said, Mrs. Perez nodding her head in agreement.
"That is such an awesome idea. We could keep Lola out of the house. She could go on a girl's day with Jenny and Hunter and they can come back when the beach house is decorated."
"And, without the parents, everyone who goes to the party can spend a couple of days at the beach house!" Mrs. Perez added on.
"That sounds like an awesome idea" I said standing up. I said goodbye to Lola's parents, and I left the house, excited as ever.
Around 4:00, Lola came home with a stack of papers.
"Babe, I'm home!" She yelled as she walked into the house.
I walked out of the kitchen and I pecked her lips.
"How was your day?" I asked her, taking the papers and putting them on the counter along with her bag.
"Long" Lola sighed. She went to the fridge and she pulled out a water. "I have a TON of papers I have to grade."
I kissed Lola's lips and I told her, "Well, tomorrow is Friday and then it is your birthday. You can get through this week."
It better be Saturday quickly because I want to propose to Lola fast-I wanted her to be mine.
