This is crimsondeathhurts first fanfic. I have never attempted to write anything so I can tell you that it's probably not going to be any good. But please read on and leave reviews! Criticism is happily accepted.
This is after Crisis Core. I have not played the game and don't know much about it cause dial-up is what have. I pay no heed to Advent Children or anything else for that matter. I guess this is slightly AU but enjoy!
Innocent Wings, Innocent Sorrow
With wings of engraving life, longing for the next world…..
Cloud lay with his dying friend. Zack was covered with blood and breathing faintly. As he watches over Zack, a cascade of tears threatened to fall. "Zack." He whispered.
Zack moved his eyes to so he could look at Cloud. "Spiky."
"Don't go Zack. Please don't go." Cloud pleaded.
Zack would have run his gloved fingers through blonde spikes had he the energy but he did not, so he settled on a small smile. "What did…we talk…about Cloud?"
"I know Zack…."
Cloud lay in Zack's arms, eyes closed and head leaning against his chest. "I'm afraid Zack."
"I know Cloud." Zack whispered. He placed a small kiss on the blondes' forehead. "But I promise, no matter what we'll always have each other. I'm never loosing you."
"But…." His protests were stifled as soft lips pressed against his own.
"Cloud I promise you, that even in our next life I will find you. We'll never be apart."
Another chaste kiss.
Cloud laid his head against Zack's chest once again. "Okay Zack." And the two slipped into comfortable silence, waiting.
The tears Cloud had tried so hard to hold back were now cascading down his cheeks. "Don't cry, Cloud." Zack coughed. His vision was quickly fading.
"Zack!" the blonde exclaimed. He clutched onto his lovers hand.
"I love you…..Cloud."
The blonde continuously called his name but received no answer. His lover was gone, leaving nothing but a promise in his wake. Cloud was alone.
….I'll be reborn and I will search for you
How was it? Worth reading I hope. It was hard for me to write this especially when I had no idea what I was doing. Please review!
