Chelsea had always questioned things.
In her human life, she had been the top of her class and always saw through the fog of indecision. This was the first time she couldn't make up her mind. She always sought facts and hated when people lied to her.
It was after she left Forks that she realized that the only person that she could truly trust was the man beside her. She was postive that he would follow her with a blind-fold across his eyes and his hands tied behind his back. He would follow her if she chose to leave her home.
In her human life, she was nice and mean at the same time. She was the most popular and could bend anyone to her will. She was a manipulater.
This was why Aro had coveted her. Two hundred years after Didyme died, the gaurd that Aro created was falling apart. He had Elezar at the time and they had found her. She was exactly what Aro needed to keep them together.
Aro told her to keep the bond of the guard tight to the Ancients. She also told to tell no one.
She soon stopped missing her mother that read her Grimm fairytales at night. The origionals. Or her brother who played with her as she got bored and protect her when she was in danger. She read all about them in the human newspapers: her brothers wedding, their first child, their second child, her mothers death (she went to the funeral), her brothers wifes death, and finally, her brothers death. She followed her nephew and her niece occasionally. When they died, she followed their children, and their children, etc..
Aro was worried about her looking at her human family, even from afar. He banned her. She didn't go against him.
She went with him as he killed of the immortal children; the Southerners, too.
It was two hundred years ago that she stumbled across her reason for existence. Afton was her knight in shinning armor. She met him on one of their trips to the South. He was older than a year and gifted. Aro didn't particularly want him, but Chelsea had convinced him otherwise. She didn't know at the time that she would come to love the sandy blonde vampire in front of her.
But, Chelsea was beginning to question where her loyalties lie.
A/N: Okay, I know this is, like, really short. I'm just seeing how many people are into Chelsea/Afton stories. I'm planning a longer story (over 15 Chapters) as we speak. So review and tell me if you like it. Please?
