Toph was sitting there in silence when Sokka found her. He wasn't sure what was bothering her, she had not been herself lately and he was worried about her."Hey Toph…. Why.. why are you crying?" Sokka asked. He took a seat by her a wiped a tear streaming down her porcelain face."Sokka, at the trial for Yu- Yukone." She struggled to say his name. " I.. I was so terrified!" Toph buried her face into Sokka's warm chest and began to cry harder. "Toph, I know, it is awful what he did, but Aang took care of him, please, please don't cry anymore, I'm here.

Sitting up and wiping her own tears Toph started to calm down a bit. She took a few seconds to breathe and just looked away before speaking again. " No, you don't understand Sokka, I- I couldn't see anything when he started to bloodbend me! All I heard was his sick laughter! How was I supposed to know if you guys were still alive, and what else was going on? I couldn't!" She started to cry again. " I was so worried about you Sokka. You are my best friend and if anything, anything at all happened to you, I couldn't live with myself you-." Placing both hands gently on her face Sokka kissed the top of her head. She didn't know why but this felt right to her. Like they were meant to be. Taking her hand he walked her over to a bench and began to talk. " Toph, you are so important to me and I will never leave you or stop loving you." Wiping one more tear off her face Toph smiled at Sokka and he knew right then she was much better. They started walking back to Air temple Island where they would be eating dinner with their old pals.
