Kazooie sat upon the Spiral Mountain, gazing out onto the sprawling land below. Several waterfalls emptied out into a small pond, running off into the river. Molehills dotted the landscape, and a Collywobble flitted about. She had just returned from a flight over the rest of the Isle O' Hags, and decided to perch atop her usual lookout. Footsteps from behind caused her to look back, seeing her best friend, Banjo. The bear plopped down beside her, folding his paws.
"So how are you?"
"Okay."
Silence.
"Whatcha up to?"
"I'm sitting…here?"
"Ahh…"
More silence. Kazooie was becoming a little annoyed.
"Do you have something to say?"
"No, not really."
"Then why are you here?"
"Because I like you?"
Banjo was expecting to be egged, wing whacked at least. But nothing came. That is, until Kazooie punched him in the arm, sending him careening off the mountain and, thankfully, into the moat below. He resurfaced shortly, clambering onto dry land and turning his gaze to the mountain. He saw her standing there, but he didn't see the deep blush she had on her face.
