Broken Hallelujahs
Solen trotted down the road. She was hot and sweaty, as she had been working in the forges with her father, Hephaestus. Her face was covered in soot and she smelled like fire. She kept to herself as she walked down the dirt street, looking no one in the eye. Suddenly, she bumped into someone. She looked up, and said
"Walk much, biscuit boy?" he looked taken aback.
"What?"
"Never you mind, fool. Get outta my way, or I'm going to have to move you myself." She snapped,. She saw him standing there.
"Don't you know who I am?"
"Yeah, I do. You're the donkey who won't get out of my way."
"I'm Hercules."
"Whatever Jercules." She pushed him aside. She walked away slowly, smiling to herself.
-Meanwhile-
"Damn, tough gal's my type." Iolaus laughed.
"Oh you have a type?" Jason teased.
"Shut up."Iolaus pushed him.
"Iolaus! We don't say shut. Apologize!" Hercules said, mimicking his mother, Alcmene. Iolaus rolled his eyes.
"We gotta get back to the academy or Chiron will freak."
