Beth was stuck in a tunnel under Hogwarts. How did this happen? Why don't we let her tell the story?
I was sitting in my dorm at Ghidy Academy for Special Children at London. It was my 3rd year there and I had been moved into a new dormitory, as all students were after 2 years.
When I was walking around my dormitory, waiting for my new roommate, one of the floorboards bent forward. I pushed it all the way and found an envelope beneath it.
On the envelope was written, 'To Albus Severus.' I had no idea who this "Albus Severus" character was, but he must've died a long while ago. This envelope was very crusted and was falling apart.
I opened the envelope to find a yellowed piece of parchment that was completely blank, and a small piece of paper that was folded in two. Opening it, I saw a letter. It was hard to read, due to my dyslexia, but I managed to read:
Dear Albus Severus,
If you are reading this message, it means that you are at your 4th year at Hogwarts. This parchment that you see in front of you is no ordinary parchment. This is the Marauder's Map. There is one step to reveal the secret of it. You must say the words, 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.' But you can't just say these words. You must mean them. That is all. I will see you over the summer.
Your loving father,
Harry
I thought about these words. This man must have really loved his son, to give his son such a "great gift." Even so, I decided to give it a try.
"I solemnly swear I am up to no good," I said to the parchment. Then, right before my eyes the paper changed. On it I saw footsteps walking around the school. I saw the headmaster's office and Professor Longbottom pacing in front of the desk. There was another person in there. Snape was the name. She had never heard of this "Snape" person.
I watched as all of the students went in and out of their dorms, and some of the new students trying to figure out where to go. I soon got tired of this, so I looked at my room on the map.
Suddenly, there was on opening in the ground shown on the map. When I walked over to that spot, there was nothing there. Then, there was an outline of a person with floating text over their head. I had to squint to see it, but I eventually made out the words aftah albab.
I assumed that I had to say these words, so I went ahead and did so. Then, out of nowhere, the wall moved apart and revealed a passage. It wasn't dirty or smelly as I had expected, but was lined with marble and smelled of flowers.
As I explored the depths of the cave, I found a slender stick sitting on the wall. When I picked it up, the tip started to glow, and a wisp of blue light surrounded me and lit a path.

Yeah that's right. NEW FANFIC! Yeah I know I should probably update my other story more often but... Whatever. So I actually wrote this for an English assignment. This is only half of it. The next half will be posted in about.. 10 minutes or so.
