A/N: So this is my new fanfic. It will probably be sort of shot, but I hope you all like it! Please R/R and check out my other stories!
Cole= Eight
Leia= Six
Stanley= Nine
JOHN'S POV:
"This is going to be wicked awesome!" Stanley shouts jumping like a five year old around me as I pack the car.
"Yeah it is!" Joe says as he closes the door to my house. The three of us are meeting Leia, Marina, and Ella, at a ski lodge in Maine for winter break. We are all thrilled about it. Stanley, Cole, and I have been snowboarding since we were 8, and Leia started skiing last year, but we are teaching the girls how to snowboard. My phone goes off and before I can grab it Stanley looks at the caller id and answers it.
"Ah! Miss. Leia, what a wonderful surprise. I guess you couldn't live without talking to Johnny boy for more than 24 hours." He says into the phone. Shoot it is Leia.
"Give me phone Stan. I mean it." He laughs and throws me the phone but not before whispering something into it that I can hear.
"Hey it's me sorry about him."
"No problem."
"What did he say?" I ask curiously.
"Oh he just told me that when I get bored and want a real man, I know where to find him." She laughs and I roll my eyes, and then glare at Stanley. He winks at me and he and Joe start laughing. With any other guys I'd be mad at them for hitting on Leia, but I know that they are cool. We're all pretty strong about the bro code and stuff. Stanley beeps the horn impatiently.
"What did you want to talk about?" I ask waving Stanley off.
"I just wanted to let you know that we were leaving."
"And you couldn't text that?"
"Maybe I missed your voice..." She says, and I can hear her blush. I smile, I missed her voice too.
"Well, we just can't let Stan know. Speaking of which we need to get going too. See you in a few hours when we stop in Portland."
"Okay, bye Babe." I end the call and get into the backseat of Stanley's car.
"Are you done talking to your girlfriend, or do you need to Skype for the car ride? I don't want you to die from separation."
"Shut up and drive." I say laughing and shoving his shoulder. As much as I hate to admit it, Stanley's sort of right. Even before Leia and I started dating, we were inseparable. Her family moved in across the street from my family when we were four. Since then she's been one of my best friends. Three years ago I realize that the feelings I had for her weren't just friendly feelings. I asked her out half way through our freshman year and we've been dating ever since. I still can't believe she said yes that first time, I made such a fool out of myself. I was stumbling over my words the entire time. I knew that I should have been able to just act normal but I just couldn't. I was so nervous that night I wore mix matching shoes (which did not help to clam my nerves down). Even now I get butterflies every time she walks into the room and I can't help but smile when she laughs.

The drive up to Portland takes us about two and half hours. That's including Stanley's need to stop at Starbucks and us stocking up on junk food and Monsters.
"I'm starving!" Cole says as we get out of the car and stretch.
"You're always hungry." I tell him.
"That's true, but right now I'm really hungry."
"We're just waiting for the girls then we can eat."
"Speaking of them," Stanley says nodding his head to Marina's car as it pulled up to us. Leia gets out of the passenger seat and I wrapped my arms around her.
"At last! The long lost lovers have reunited!" Stanley shouted. Ella slapped him on the back of his head.
"So if no one's hungry we can walk around the water front." Marina says.
"NO!" Cole, Stan, and I all shout in unison. The girls laugh and we all walk to the flatbread pizza place. I put my arm around Leia and she leans into me, resting her head on my shoulder. We order four large pizzas, three meat lovers with double the meat and a veggie.
"Do you each really need a large pizza each?" Ella asks.
"Yes" we reply.
"I don't know how you can eat like you do and still be in killer shape." She says shaking her head.
"It called coach Merlin. He works us like slaves." Stanley says referring to the schools coach. The schools only coach. And between the three of us, we're captains of all the sports teams. We basically live in the school gym. We finish lunch then head back to the cars and when we get to them my phone starts ringing. It my dad. (Henri)
"Hey what's up dad?"
"I was just on the phone with Uncle Malcolm and apparently your cousin Sam is coming up with a few of his friends to stay with you and the girls. Malcolm asks me if it was alright and I said it was. Their condos got mixed up and they were put with you. A girl, Sarah, is going to stay with Leia and the guys are crashing with you. I know you had space for it in your place right?"
"Uh, yeah that's fine." We say goodbye, then I tell the group the news.
"Wait," Stanley says, "Cousin Sam as in goes to space camp and believes in UFO cousin Sam?" I nod and he and Cole groan.
"That guy is such a nerd! You can't seriously let them stay with us!" Cole says.
"I know he's a nerd but what could I do? My dad is pay for this trip and you know how close he is with Uncle Malcolm and Sam."
"I think it could be fun!" Marina says try to keep us positive. "He's bringing some friends; it will be a great opportunity to meet new people! You'll see it will be great."

We get up to the mountains a couple hours later and go to check in. I'm waiting on a bench for Stanley to get our keys when a girl who is clearly not dressed for mountain weather sits down next to me.
"I had no idea it would be this cold!" She says shivering.
"Where are you from?" I ask her, taking off my jacket and draping it around her shoulders.
"Thank you. I'm from Miami."
"Really, what brings you up here?"
"A friend of mine asked me to come up and my boyfriend really wanted to, even though he hates my friend. I guess I just agreed because I wanted them to get along. I'm Sarah by the way."
"John. Is there any chance that your here with Sam Goode?"
"Yeah! He's my friend. You know him?"
"He's my cousin."
"Shut up! For real?"
"Yeah he and two other dudes are staying with us. You're staying with my girlfriend and her friends."
"My boyfriend Mark is staying with you."
Before I can say anything Sam walks over and I stand up and shake his hand. Is it possible that he got skinnier?
"Looking forward to hitting the slopes?" I ask him.
"Yeah I've been waiting to ski since last March."
"Are you going to hit the gym with the guys and me now? Then we're going to the pool." There's no way he could ever keep up with us, but it's always good to ask.
"I think I'll just meet you at the pool... I'm not really up to working out." Shocker.
"Alright man, met us at the pool around 6 alright?"
"Six? It is three now. You're going to work out for three hours?"
"Uh, yeah, we usually spend around three or four hours a day at Cross fit. Not including training and practice for sports."
"You guys are nuts."
"Maybe, but it is fun."
"Dude," Stanley calls, "let's roll."
"See you at six." I tell Sam and Sarah. I jog over to the guys and we drive to the fitness center. We do a few WODs (workout of the day) and finish around 5:54. We grab showers and by the time we walk up the the indoor pool the girls are talking with Sam, that girl Sarah, and two other guys that must be Sam's other friends. I walk up to Leia and wrap my arms around her.
"Hey babe, this is Mark and Rich." she says. I shake their hands. Mark is your typical jock. Hair perfectly styled to look like he just rolled out of bed, well built, name brand swim shorts, and a smug look that say he can get any girl he wants with a snap of his fingers. Clear signs of a jerk. Even without knowing them well, I have no clue why Sarah is with this guy. She seems so nice and bubbly. But looks can be deceiving I guess.
The other guy is Marks complete opposite, short, round, and sort of fat. He wears a shirt that looks like he has no intention of removing. His face is splatter with acne and his hair is super greasy. We go into the outdoor hot tub and everyone's chatting, getting to know one another. I'm sitting in between Leia and Sarah. I watch Mark check out every girl that walks by. I roll my eyes. I know his type. The majority of my friends are like him. All he talks about is partying, drinking, and girls. Even with his girlfriend sitting right there next to him. She looks like she's heard all this before. Which she probably has. Rich doesn't say anything and when someone asks him a question, he only gives one word answers. When the place closes we all head to our separate condos. We made the sleeping arrangements and let me tell you, it took a lot of patience on my part. Everyone was arguing and making excuses on why they couldn't share a room with certain people. In the end it was Sam and Rich, Joe and Stanley, and Mark and myself. None of us wanted to room with Mark, we all could see he was a tool, but in the end we realized Stanley would probably kill him (he has a short temper), and Joe would probably kill himself. So I'm the one who gets the joy of staying with him.
"So, what sports do you play?" I ask him later in our room.
"Football," he says proudly, "I'm star quarterback. Do you play any sports?" He says.
"I play quarterback for our football team too. I'm also the track team captain and the baseball team captain. And I play on the boxing team and soccer team." He looks shocked for a moment, not believing that anyone could possibly be better than him.
"Is your school any good?"
"The three years I've been playing we entered nationals and won each time." This shuts him up.
