I couldn't believe it. This really was happening. I was retiring. No more Captain work. I'm glad to say, I let Ichigo Kurosaki, take my place as Captain. And his sister will make a better Lieutenant then Rangiku was.
"Let's go Toshiro." And the best part of retiring, is I get to be with the woman I love. "Coming Annabelle." I tell her.
They got her place all fixed up for those in the soul society that need an undercover place to stay or something like that. Annabelle planned on running it. And I was to help being a retired Captain and all. But I could still fight.
"Here we are." she said opening the door. It looked so beautiful. Like a hotel. "My home sweet home." She said.
"Our home sweet home." I said wrapping my arm around her. "Toshiro. Are you sure about this?" She asked me. I rolled my eyes. "You know I love you. Why wouldn't I be sure about this. Us living together." I told her.
She smiled at me. "True. I love you too, Toshi." She gave me a kiss on the cheek. "That's not a proper kiss." I said. She giggled. But I shhed her. I gave her a real kiss on the lips. So sweet and soft. Like candy.
"You are bad sometimes." She said. "I know. But you love me anyway." I told her. We then started unpacking our things. "Look what I found." She called. She held up a box. "It's the charm I gave you. Which you never had a bracelet to wear it on." I said.
She then walked over to the bed and sat down holding her leg up. "I have this." Her mother's anklet. I sighed and walked over, taking the charm and attaching it to her anklet. "That's better." I said. I sat up next to her one the bed looking around. "This is our new life." I said.
"Yes. I'm so happy to have net you, Toshiro Hitsugaya." She said to me. "And you Annabelle."
We finished setting things up and soon we enjoyed a cup of tea siting by the fire at night, happy and warm.
