Rip Holes
By Tyson Waterman
Prologe...
The hole was a lot bigger and started to feel weird this time. I'm of course talking about the "rip holes," or that's what I call them. They're sort of like rips in time, space, and even dimentions. However, they always lead back to one giant space I call the hub. That's where I'm heading, or I think. Sometimes they lead you to a whole new place, and wont come back until you either fix a problem in that place/period, or rewrite history!
Anyways, I was on my way to the hub when a second hole openned up! How is that possible! I got sucked in all most as sudden. The hole was a different color, orange instead of blue. It felt weird. somewhere not good. If anyone is actually reading this, I don't know if I'm going to make it, but if things start changing around you; I didn't. I'm the last of my family, the last of the people who know about these hole, and I think the only one who can travel through these holes. I call myself... Hero.
Chapter 1: Kate Welling
It was a bright sunny day in the city of New York. The streets were busy, the sidewalks and subways were as crowded as ever. Howevere, in all of this madness, there is one person who seems different.
Kate Welling was walking to her job as an accountent as usual when she stopped. In the allyway that she can barely see, she could make out a hint of a round sphere. I bet it's nonthing, she thought, and continued onwards. She wore her usual black suit with red tie and matching dress shoes. Her brunet hair was in a ponytail and she had some strands hanging out on her face.
She had just reach her job when she saw a man walk out of the ally where she saw the weird object. " How did you come from there?" She questioned the man.
"Hmm. Oh you know," he spoke in a british accent, "through one of the doors."
"But there's no.." She started.
"What year is it?" the man said.
"Why?"
"No reason." The man quickly spun around as if he was looking for something. "It's 2013 right?"
"Of course." Kate shot in a mocking tone. "Who are..."
Suddenly a large buff of smoke whooshed into the air. It was shaped as a mushroom, but no fire was seen.
"That's why." The man answered and tried to run off. However, Kate grabbed his arm.
"Who are you?" She questioned
"Hero." He spoke in a low voice.
