A few thoughts from our dashing hero about past and future tenses....

Sometimes, Dean felt he had lived his life in the imperfect tense.

He used to have a family, a home, a kid brother, a loving Dad.

He used to have a Mom.

He used to be a simple hunter with one simple task - to kill evil SOBs with whatever weapons came to hand.

He used to have hope.

Now he had an angel at his side, a grown-up brother at his back, demons on his tail and the apocalypse all around him.

Looks like, he mused, we are moving into an uncertain future tense.

Dean grinned. Bring it on!
