Arthur Weasley sat alone in his office. Around him, various Muggle objects lay upon sagging shelves. Yo-Yo's, rubber ducks, and spark plugs had their own shelf, labeled 'Important'. On the right side of his desk sat a magic eight ball. Arthur wasn't sure what kind of magic it operated on, and his spells had come back inconclusive. Still, it was right most of the time.

With extreme focus, he began to insert his fingers into the tube of cloth in front of him. On a whim, he had purchased it from a Muggle knick-knack store. According to the store owner, it was Chinese. Feeling his fingertips touch, he leaned back.

"Muggles," Arthur says quietly. "I will never understand them."

Moving to make a note, he realized in shock that his fingers were stuck together. The simple cylinder would not release them!

Arthur brought his conjoined hands to eye level, and very deliberately, shook them. They remained wedged inside the fabric pipe. What was this Muggle thing called again?

Ah yes, a Chinese Finger Trap. How apt!

Arthur reclined in his well-worn chair and thought. Five minutes passed and he still lacked any idea concerning how to free himself. Tiredly, he lifted his hand and scratched his forehead.

Blinking, he looked back down at his fingers. They were no longer connected by the small tube that sat innocently on his desk. Taking out his wand, he cast a general magic detecting charm on the Chinese Finger Trap. It returned negative.

He cast a few more spells, all returning the same result. Putting down his wand, he picked up the magic eight ball and shook it.

"Is it magic?"

'Ask again later' swam into view, and he put down the orb.

He picked up a quill and began writing.
