I couldn't believe I was here. I was in the soul society for life. I officially became a member. I was the captain's assistant in squad 10. I got to work with Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya. I was the happiest girl in the world.
"Can you hand me those papers?" He asked me. We were in the office doing work. I smiled and handed him what he needed.
"Here you go." I said. "You look happy." He said. "I am." I was helping with the paperwork because Rangiku is lazy and I'm the only person to actually get her to do her work.
"Is there a special reason for that?" He asked me. I looked up at him. "No. I'm just happy." I smiled.
He didn't look convinced at me. "Annabelle." He gave me a soft smile. "Please tell me." How can you ever resist?!
"I'm happy, because I get to work with you, everyday, officially as a member of 10." I told him. I did blush a little.
"That's all? I thought you'd be more happy with the fact you get to see Ichigo whenever you wanted." He said. "There is that too, but-" But Ichigo isn't you. I thought.
"But what?" He asked. "Nothing. He's got his own life. Sword play with Renji and Rukia." I said.
"It there something your not telling me?" He asked. How would you tell your captain you...love them? "It's really nothing. Let's just finish these papers. Then we can go have our own sword play." I giggled.
He didn't press me any further. But he would eventually.
"I like ho your a part of my squad. And not anyone else." He said suddenly. I nearly dropped everything in my hands. "You, really?" I asked. The first time he's actually told me about how happy he is to have me. I couldn't help but smile.
"I'm glad to be a part of your life." I told him.
I didn't see his face but I could tell it was red. "Annabelle. When were alone...Please call me Toshiro." He said. I looked up at him. "Seriously?" He looked at me with a smile. "Yes." I wanted to get up and hug him so badly! "Okay, Toshiro." I said. This isn't a dream anymore. This is real life. And I love it!
I hope I never wake up. I love you Toshiro. One day, I'll say it to him. And maybe...He'll tell me the exact same thing.
