"Let me get this straight, you want us to move in together Terra?"

"Come on Aqua, it'd be practical and cheaper than remaining in the dormitories." Terra replied, taking a sip of his Pepsi. It had taken him some courage to suggest the idea, not sure how Aqua would feel sharing an apartment with two guys. Ven was quietly thinking while eating some ice cream.

"Okay, cheaper I understand. In what way is it practical as you put it?" Aqua had a few ideas why he thought so, but she preferred it when she could get Terra talking. Terra had a pleasing voice and curiosity always made her its cat.

"Well, for starters we don't get to see each other all that often anymore between classes, our part-time jobs and living in the dorms. Another thing is none of us like our roommates, and well…I'm tired of missing you guys all the times you're not with me."

Ven nearly choked on his mouthful of sea salt ice cream. It was rare for Terra to make such a blatant admission, normally he beat around the bush a little when it came to anything he felt made him selfish.

"Terra, I didn't know you miss us all the time."

It was true, Ven thought he was the only one who thought about the other two nearly all the time. A silly thought when you considered how many times they each tried to squeeze in time for the other two.

"I didn't want to come off as too selfish or dependent of you two. I mean it though; I want to live with you two. Even after we graduate, I want the three of us to always be together. It got stronger after a dream…where we were torn apart from each other, never to sit beneath the same stars." Terra didn't realize he was trembling as he recalled the vivid dream, watching as their creepy science teacher in a weird outfit froze Ventus' body and possessed his body, making him strangle Aqua. The nightmare had ended with the three separated and unable to find one another.

"Hey, it's okay Terra. We're here, the three of us. So, say we do decide to go through with this. How do you want us to go about finding a place?"

"Together, always." Terra replied, wiping the unshed tears away with his sleeve.

After all, it was the whole point wasn't it? What better way to stay connected than to pick their home for the three of them, than together as one? Their three intertwining destinies once torn apart in another lifetime were finally as they were meant to be: connected.
