That night was dark. A dark,cloudy sky. The moon was not visible. In spite of all the darkness ,it was easy to distinguish a huge,metal armor in a particular street. Despite the darkness, it was easy to say the person in the armor was shaking. Not with excitement or anything but with rage.
"Why?"
Alphonse Elric looked down at his brother,Edward Elric in shock and anger. He could not believe that Edward had done such a thing. Alphonse was furious. Outraged. He could not believe he was capable of such fury and rage.
"I hate you,Brother. I hate you,so much..."
No,'hate' was not the right word. Alphonse loathed Edward! Yes,'loath' perfectly described his inner feelings toward his older brother. Alphonse looked at his hands. They were shaking with rage. He was so full of hatred that he thought his armor might explode,any moment.
"I'll never forgive you..."
Edward had apologized. Although the apology was sincere,it did nothing to cease Alphonse's rage. How did Edward expect to be forgiven?! This...this was unforgivable!
Alphonse looked at his brother again. He gazed at his face for the longest time as he remembered all of the time they had spent,together. Their achievements,their fights,their mistakes...
Alphonse recalled that Edward once transmutated his favorite toy. Edward had apologized and Alphonse had forgiven him. He couldn't stay mad at his older brother for long...
This time was no exception.
Alphonse suddenly jumped and hugged the bloody,lifeless form of Edward to his chest. Edward was dead. How could you,Brother,how could you leave like this?! Alphonse looked at Edward's closed eyes. Granny will be sad,Winry is going to cry. You break your promise...
No,how could he have felt angry with Edward? It was not his fault. It was just... Alphonse had never imagined he would lose his beloved brother so easily,so soon. In his eyes,Edward was always so untouchable,so invincible...
There was nothing he could do. Edward was gone. Alphonse just sat there,holding his dead brother in his arms.
The huge armor was still shaking,this time with sorrow...
