Gale (After Katniss basically says she can't love him due to prim's death; mockingjay)
Gale wasn't heartbroken. It was hard to hear, but he would survive. He always did- no matter how Katniss tore at him with her words. He loved her and possibly always would, but she was right that it could have been his bomb. In fact, to him it was his bomb. Even if it wasn't, he was a horrible person for thinking of strategies like that. How could he have? The guilt ate away at him.
But, he survived.
And he thought of her every second. But he kept going, because he had known she would fall for Peeta. He could predict Katniss better than she could predict her self.
She was predictable. He could predict that at least she would never forget him. That was enough for him; he could live with that.
He just didn't know if he wanted to.
