Its a kids nature to be adventurous and curious. Most the time their activities are relatively safe, maybe just a small scrape or so to account for in the injury category. However, every once in a while there will be one who wants to explore just a little more than the rest. In this case a small boy named Steve Rogers decided to climb up a tall tree in which there are no safe paths down. He and his friend James Buchanan Barnes, or as Steve liked to call him Bucky, were out playing hide-and-seek in the middle of their Brooklyn neighborhood. Steve decided to take the game up a notch and decided to hide in the single tree that grows along the sidewalk. He cautiously climbs the tree to the highest point as he hears Bucky counting down "Three...Two...One...Ready or not here I come." Bucky looks all around. He looked behind trashcans and in small dips that are in the walls where he can usually find Steve hiding. Knowing that Steve couldn't do much because of medical problems, he never thought to look up. After 10 minutes of searching he starts to freak out because for all he knows Steve could be in trouble somewhere and Bucky wasn't able to help him. Finally Bucky decides to yell out "Okay Steve you win, now please come out." When Steve does not appear Bucky starts looking around like crazy. He stops under the tree and hears a soft whimper of "Bucky" from above. He looks up and sees Steve with a fearful look on his face. "Bucky, I can't get down." Bucky freezes for a second trying to think of the best way to approach the situation. "Okay Steve you are going to be okay. Just get to the lowest point you can safely okay?" "Alright." Slowly Steve crawls down a few branches until he can go no further. "What now Bucky?" Bucky looks straight into Steve's eyes and calmly says "Steve you need to jump into my arms and I will catch you. I promise not to ever let you get hurt." Steve's eyes are full of trust and gets ready to jump down, "Okay on three. Ready. One...Two...Three." Steve leaps toward Bucky and Bucky watches as Steve flies through the air toward him. Quickly he readies himself as Steve reaches out toward him. He grabs Steve and held him close as he fell backwards. Once they finally settle on the ground, Bucky looks at Steve and asks "You okay Steve?" "Yeah Bucky. Thank you for saving me. I was so scared." Bucky looks right at Steve and says "As long as I am here, I promise nothing will hurt you. Now lets go get cleaned up and get some food Punk." "Alright Jerk."
