"Can someone call their own relationship, relationship goals?" Alya murmured as she cuddled closer against Adrien's side and let her head rest on his shoulder.
"I don't know." Adrien muttered in reply, "But you can give it a try. I bet no one would challenge you."
"Then this is what it is." Alya responded, nestled closely against his side, ignoring the old film that played in the background, some black and white film that they'd managed to find somehow while digging around in some old stuff, so they'd naturally marathoned a series of films until Alya got a little tired and not minding at all as she snuggled up to her boyfriend, half ready for a nap, half eager to just stay as close to him as possible without napping.
"Okay." Adrien smiled, resting his one arm around her waist and lightly ruffling her hair with his other hand. It seemed that he stopped caring about the movie on the screen, less concerned than before over whether he missed a word or two, here or there.
"I wonder why your dad kept these old films. May be they were family films or he really likes old films." Alya muttered, thinking back to the fact that some of these films probably originally belonged to his grandparents.
"He never said anything about them." Adrien leaned against her side; he loved cuddling and whenever Alya felt in the mood to cuddle, he was always fast to reciprocate. They both ignored the credits as they rolled right on by.
"Do we have any popcorn left?" She murmured, leaning slightly off of her boyfriend's shoulder to look at their definitely empty popcorn bowl except for the kernels that never popped. Even their drinks and candies looked depleted.
May be, they should have grabbed more before they sat down to watch the old films; she was just relieved that since they were older now, Gabriel Agreste had less exact control over his son's diet though she was positive that he wouldn't be happy with the junk food that Adrien had eaten or the pops that they'd shared. Oh, well. Alya wasn't going to fault a good time or complain about how strict Adrien's father decided to be.
It was a weird ground to walk on, but Alya still really loved dating him rather than worrying too much over the small details that would come in time, like when one day, she might actually be calling his father, her father-in-law. Right now, she just wanted to live in the moment and enjoy the steady and somewhat soothing warmth of being at her boyfriend's side, all snuggled up, after a day just hanging out, watching old movies, and eating popcorn and candy.
