Okay, I know it's really short, but it popped into my head from Failsafe. I can't believe M'gann said the "L" word! :D I honestly thought Supey was gonna say it first but who cares! It was said! :) And you know how her Uncle said her telepathic mind was stronger then his? That pretty much means she could easily brainwash half of the League! HOLY. CRAP! Hope she's not the Mole...

M'gann wouldn't leave her room. Which was pretty much bumming out her clone boyfriend. Conner wanted her to talk to him. He didn't care if it was out loud or through a psychic link. He just wanted to hear her.

He layed on his bed, wanting to talk to her about those simple (yet beyond powerful) words he'd heard her say to him during the exercise.

"I love you."

Of course he hadn't said anything back, mainly because he was about to die. Did she mean it? Or did she only say it because they all thought they were going to die? He had to know.

Conner quickly got up from his bed, and walked the ten feet from his door to M'gann's. "M'gann! I gotta talk to you. Can you please let me in?" Conner asked hopefully. A moment later, M'gann opened up her bedroom door.

She wasn't in her usual red cardigan skirt combo. She was in a baggy white t-shirt, clearly not form fitting, and a pair of yellow sweats that ended at her knees.

She was in her pajamas.

"What do you want Conner?" she asked in a quiet voice. Conner didn't have to think long to realize she'd been crying. "I wanted to talk to you." He said simply. "Oh? About how I almost put you, Artemis, and the others in permanent comas? Thanks but no thanks!" M'gann hissed, turning her back towards him.

She was trying her hardest to fit back the next wave of tears, and Conner could tell. "No. That's not it at all." Conner said. M'gann turned her head, looking surprised. "I wanted to talk to you about what you said to me... Right before I died..." Conner said.

M'gann let out a groan, before collapsing face down on her bed. "That's worst then putting you into a coma!" He heard her muffled cry.

He rolled his eyes smirking. "We gotta talk about it sometime. Or were you hoping I'd forget it?" Conner smirked, kneeling down and rubbing her back, trying to get her to look at him. It didn't work.

"Yes." He heard M'gann say. "Huh?" Conner asked.

"I was hoping you'd forget. It was just a spure of the moment thing! You can just pretend I never said it." He heard M'gann huff.

"Okay." Conner said, getting up to leave. He stopped at her door way. "Oh and M'gann?" He asked.

She turned her head to look at him. "Yes?" she sighed.

"I love you too."
