So this was based on a personal experience that happened, and I decided to make a fanfiction wrapped around it

Betrayal.
That was the name for it.
Betrayal.
They all wanted to say they saw it coming.
But they didn't see it coming.
They all knew he was a heartless leader. Whose arrogance and annoyance towards the team would find a way to this.
But they didn't actually see it coming.
It just happened so fast. One thing was said, then another, then another, and eventually everyone had fought.
Fought until they could fight no more.
When the fight was over, their leader was no longer the same person that he used to be. True, he was still heartless, arrogant, and annoyed.
But something felt different to the rest of the team.
Their leader was cold, uncaring, and mean. Not the little kid pushing another little kid down mean, not the "I'm going to steal your stuff" mean. He was a different kind of mean.
They couldn't describe it, he was just-
just-
Just Mean!
It was hard. No one knew what to do. They didn't know what to feel. Some had tears in their eyes, some didn't.
Their most common thought was "What are we going to do now?"

That's what it was, it wouldn't change
